Paper airplanes are a classic craft that never goes out of style. They're easy to make and provide endless fun once completed. Start with a simple design, like the classic "dart" paper airplane, and gradually move on to more complex designs as your child's skills improve.

To make a classic dart paper airplane, follow these steps: 1. Begin with a rectangular piece of paper, with the long sides at the top and bottom. 2. Fold the paper in half lengthwise, crease well, and then unfold. 3. Fold the top two corners in to meet the center crease. 4. Fold the new top corners in to meet the center crease again. 5. Fold the paper in half along the center crease, bringing the new top corners to the bottom edge. 6. Fold the paper in half again, this time bringing the top edge to the bottom edge. 7. Fold the wings down, and you're ready for takeoff!

Paper chains are a versatile craft that can be used to decorate for any occasion. They're perfect for making garlands, party decorations, or even a countdown chain for special events like birthdays or holidays.

To make a paper chain, follow these steps: 1. Cut out strips of paper, about 1 inch wide and 6-8 inches long. 2. Glue one end of a strip to the end of another strip, forming a loop. 3. Continue gluing strips together, forming a chain. 4. Once the chain is the desired length, you can decorate it with markers, stickers, or other embellishments.
