Sata Cable Not Fitting. I recently bought a new harddrive and the sata connectors from wont fit, it seems that i need one big sata connector in stead of 2. Replacing a sata cable is just a matter of unplugging. Look at the white lettering near the ports on the motherboard and find the one labeled sata 0 or sata 1 (if there is no sata 0 port). I'm nearly done building my pc, but the sata cables that came with my corsair ax 760 won't fit in my 500gb samsung evo. The only thing you should look for is whether the cable ends are straight or angled. I cannot seem to fit the say’s cable into my 3.5 inch drive and mount it to the case.
