A Sad Note

This year's painting competition was marred by some skullduggery by a entrant. He submitted miniatures he had bought on the internet as his own in the painting competition. Entering miniatures for other people who can not attend GenCon is okay, as long as it is under the painter's own name. Taking credit for someone else's work is not.

Stuff gets around on the net. The entrant's misdeeds were caught when pics of the winning entries were posted to various miniature painting groups and lists. The people who had painted the work for the entrant cried foul and his entries have since been disqualified.

The offending images have been removed from their respective categories. Some categories may therefor lack First, Second, or Third place entries.
