I Hate Online Discussion Boards. Fine.some parts of them suck. Let’s talk about discussion boards in online courses for a second—to put it bluntly, they suck. Last fall, i helped a subject matter expert overhaul an online. I’m almost done with my degree, 2 more terms, and from my first term to now i haven’t liked a single discussion board. Discussion posts in an online class can be intimidating. I think the key is to find the right app. I have noticed, off and on, people on discussion boards (e.g., forums, comment sections) seem to have an abrasive, if not. As internet forums die off, finding community can be harder than ever. I hate that once i post a on. Have only certain students post initial responses. It is annoying that often times it can take me 30 minutes to reply to the 4 different discussion boards i had. Twitter and facebook just aren't as good. You might feel like your being judged by your peers or it might seem like a popularity contest.
