[00:04.300 --> 00:05.840] But as always, the story continues. [00:05.840 --> 00:08.240] We'll see you back here tomorrow night at 7. [00:08.240 --> 00:09.240] Good night, everybody. [00:09.240 --> 00:21.760] Good evening and welcome to Tucker Carlson tonight. [00:21.760 --> 00:24.840] So here's the actual headline, the one that should be running [00:24.840 --> 00:25.640] but isn't. [00:25.640 --> 00:27.860] Bernie Sanders is now officially the front runner [00:27.860 --> 00:29.340] for the Democratic nomination. [00:29.340 --> 00:32.400] Sanders won the New Hampshire primary last night. [00:32.400 --> 00:33.800] He received the most votes. [00:33.800 --> 00:35.640] He will get the most delegates. [00:35.640 --> 00:38.440] Now, the Democratic contest now turns to the state of Nevada. [00:38.440 --> 00:40.240] Sanders is likely to win there, too. [00:40.240 --> 00:42.840] So at this point, and the betting markets agree on this, [00:42.840 --> 00:47.040] Sanders is the odds-on favorite to face Donald Trump in November. [00:47.040 --> 00:49.260] So pause for a moment and think about what that means. [00:49.260 --> 00:51.400] It's kind of an amazing story, really. [00:51.400 --> 00:54.000] For decades, Bernie Sanders was dismissed out of hand [00:54.000 --> 00:56.940] as a crank, an ideological antique, a weirdo [00:56.940 --> 00:59.560] with excessive ear hair and Soviet sympathies, all of which [00:59.560 --> 01:01.100] essentially was true. [01:01.100 --> 01:03.880] Nobody in Washington took Bernie Sanders seriously, [01:03.880 --> 01:04.960] not for a moment. [01:04.960 --> 01:06.560] He wasn't even technically a Democrat. [01:06.560 --> 01:10.800] He was a proud independent who despised the Democratic Party. [01:10.800 --> 01:12.920] And now, all of a sudden, the odds-makers [01:12.920 --> 01:14.720] are telling us that Bernie Sanders [01:14.720 --> 01:17.340] is likely to take over the Democratic Party, [01:17.340 --> 01:19.040] the whole thing. [01:19.040 --> 01:20.080] Amazing. [01:20.080 --> 01:21.840] So no matter what you think of him, [01:21.840 --> 01:25.040] Bernie Sanders' rise is one of the most remarkable developments [01:25.040 --> 01:27.240] in American politics in decades. [01:27.240 --> 01:30.080] And yet, the political press is essentially not covering it. [01:30.080 --> 01:31.960] Many have decided it's just not happening. [01:31.960 --> 01:33.720] They've been told by their masters or the DNC [01:33.720 --> 01:36.600] to stop Sanders, and for weeks, they've worked their best [01:36.600 --> 01:37.560] to affect that. [01:37.560 --> 01:40.180] A couple of weeks ago, they colluded with Elizabeth Warren [01:40.180 --> 01:41.240] to call Sanders a sexist. [01:41.240 --> 01:42.320] That failed. [01:42.320 --> 01:44.880] So now they're pretending that losing candidates [01:44.880 --> 01:47.160] are actually the winners. [01:47.160 --> 01:50.600] A chyron and MSNBC last night read this, quote, [01:50.600 --> 01:53.040] Buddha Judge, Klobuchar, and Sanders [01:53.040 --> 01:54.320] leading in New Hampshire. [01:54.320 --> 01:57.140] In other words, perfectly inverting reality [01:57.140 --> 01:58.640] in the state of the race. [01:58.640 --> 02:00.200] Then Chris Matthews came on stream [02:00.200 --> 02:03.880] to explain that actually, Bernie Sanders didn't win. [02:03.880 --> 02:06.320] I mean, yeah, he got the most votes, but that doesn't matter. [02:06.320 --> 02:08.920] What is this, some kind of democracy? [02:08.920 --> 02:10.840] A win's a win, as you say at the New York Giants, [02:10.840 --> 02:13.040] New York football Giants, yes. [02:13.040 --> 02:16.480] But it wasn't the victory of a guy that got 60% last time. [02:16.480 --> 02:20.800] And Buddha Judge and Klobuchar together trounced Bernie [02:20.800 --> 02:23.360] tonight. [02:23.360 --> 02:24.160] You following that? [02:24.160 --> 02:26.480] If you take two totally different candidates [02:26.480 --> 02:28.480] and you meld them into a single person, [02:28.480 --> 02:30.880] Sanders would, in fact, be in second place. [02:30.880 --> 02:32.960] Take that, Bernie bros. [02:32.960 --> 02:35.400] But even if you use Chris Matthews' math, [02:35.400 --> 02:38.320] you couldn't hide the biggest loser last night. [02:38.320 --> 02:40.360] And that, of course, was media-appointed front-runner Joe [02:40.360 --> 02:41.080] Biden. [02:41.080 --> 02:43.400] During a rare moment of lucidity last fall, [02:43.400 --> 02:45.240] Biden, in a complete sentence, promised [02:45.240 --> 02:46.800] he was going to win New Hampshire. [02:46.800 --> 02:48.440] Instead, last night, he finished fifth. [02:48.440 --> 02:51.120] His vote total at the end was closer to zero [02:51.120 --> 02:53.480] than it was to what Bernie Sanders got. [02:53.480 --> 02:56.480] In fact, Biden failed so completely in New Hampshire [02:56.480 --> 02:58.200] that he didn't even bother to speak [02:58.200 --> 03:00.160] to his supporters in the state, many of whom [03:00.160 --> 03:02.480] have campaigned on his behalf for a year. [03:02.480 --> 03:04.000] Instead, he blew them off completely [03:04.000 --> 03:05.720] and fled to South Carolina, where [03:05.720 --> 03:08.120] he delivered a bizarre rambling speech, [03:08.120 --> 03:10.680] declaring that New Hampshire voters don't matter anyway. [03:10.680 --> 03:12.040] Who cares about them? [03:12.040 --> 03:14.200] They're the wrong skin color. [03:14.200 --> 03:17.160] Up till now, we haven't heard from the most committed [03:17.160 --> 03:20.280] constituency of the Democratic Party, the African-American [03:20.280 --> 03:21.360] community. [03:21.360 --> 03:23.400] I want you all to think of a number. [03:23.400 --> 03:26.920] 99.9%. [03:26.920 --> 03:28.960] That's the percentage of African-American voters [03:28.960 --> 03:33.200] who have not yet had a chance to vote in America. [03:33.200 --> 03:34.880] One more number. [03:34.880 --> 03:36.560] 99.8%. [03:36.560 --> 03:38.480] That's the percent of Latinos. [03:38.480 --> 03:40.760] So when you hear all these punts and experts, [03:40.760 --> 03:44.320] cable TV talkers, talk about the race, tell them, [03:44.320 --> 03:45.480] it ain't over, man. [03:45.480 --> 03:46.640] We're just getting started. [03:46.640 --> 03:50.960] Our votes count, too. [03:53.800 --> 03:55.120] Our votes count. [03:55.120 --> 03:56.200] You heard that right. [03:56.200 --> 04:00.680] Biden's plan to resuscitate his campaign, make it about race. [04:00.680 --> 04:02.680] Now, that, of course, is a tactic that Democrats have [04:02.680 --> 04:04.000] used for over 100 years. [04:04.000 --> 04:05.360] There's nothing uglier than that, [04:05.360 --> 04:07.760] though unfortunately it's sometimes effective. [04:07.760 --> 04:08.440] Listen to this. [04:08.440 --> 04:09.880] It's Biden's new ad. [04:09.880 --> 04:11.600] He plays the role of civil rights [04:11.600 --> 04:14.040] marcher, fresh out of gospel choir practice. [04:14.040 --> 04:15.200] Listen. [04:15.200 --> 04:17.240] We don't feel no ways tired. [04:17.240 --> 04:20.560] We've come too far from where we started. [04:20.560 --> 04:22.560] Nobody told me the road would be easy. [04:22.560 --> 04:26.720] And I don't believe he brought me this far to stop now. [04:26.720 --> 04:28.560] If you don't like what's going on in this country, [04:28.560 --> 04:30.000] you only have one thing to do. [04:30.000 --> 04:30.680] Work. [04:30.680 --> 04:34.120] Together we can and we'll win. [04:34.120 --> 04:36.280] Let's take back this country now. [04:39.040 --> 04:42.520] So if you're Biden's age and you're literally this close, [04:42.520 --> 04:46.520] probably weeks away to retiring to Del Boca Vista, [04:46.520 --> 04:49.240] why degrade yourself like that? [04:49.240 --> 04:51.120] That was pandering so blatant, you've [04:51.120 --> 04:55.200] got to wonder if Biden got it from Hillary Clinton. [04:55.200 --> 04:58.480] I don't feel no ways tired. [04:58.480 --> 05:03.840] I've come too far from where I started from. [05:03.840 --> 05:08.400] Nobody told me that the road would be easy. [05:08.400 --> 05:14.960] I don't believe he brought me this far to leave me. [05:14.960 --> 05:16.920] Imagine talking like that. [05:16.920 --> 05:19.480] How much would you hate yourself? [05:19.480 --> 05:21.760] Biden thought it was great, so he copied it. [05:21.760 --> 05:23.000] Sad. [05:23.000 --> 05:25.560] A campaign that should have been euthanized a long time ago. [05:25.560 --> 05:27.200] But the same press corps that told you [05:27.200 --> 05:29.480] Joe Biden was the front runner and ignored [05:29.480 --> 05:32.880] his obvious infirmity is enabling him once again. [05:32.880 --> 05:35.400] And they're doing that by playing along [05:35.400 --> 05:38.680] as he reframes this entire contest as really [05:38.680 --> 05:40.440] something about race. [05:40.440 --> 05:42.800] According to the media, New Hampshire's voters, [05:42.800 --> 05:45.360] just like the voters in Iowa, don't really matter. [05:45.360 --> 05:47.600] They don't count because they're the wrong color. [05:47.600 --> 05:49.040] They're telling you that. [05:49.040 --> 05:51.960] MSNBC anchor Craig Melvin tweeted this, [05:51.960 --> 05:53.760] and we're quoting, an accurate headline [05:53.760 --> 05:57.360] would read Bernie Sanders wins, Amy's surges and surprises. [05:57.360 --> 06:01.160] Black and brown voters now start casting primary ballots. [06:01.160 --> 06:01.960] Please. [06:01.960 --> 06:03.800] Talk about somebody who doesn't even read the newspaper. [06:03.800 --> 06:05.400] Black and brown voters, as he said, [06:05.400 --> 06:06.440] have been voting from the beginning. [06:06.440 --> 06:08.920] And by the way, plenty of them have voted for Bernie Sanders. [06:08.920 --> 06:10.280] He won their votes in Iowa. [06:10.280 --> 06:13.000] He'll most certainly win heavily Hispanic Nevada. [06:14.000 --> 06:15.040] But take three steps back. [06:15.040 --> 06:17.160] Why are we even having this conversation? [06:17.160 --> 06:18.680] Do you really want to live in a country [06:18.680 --> 06:21.160] where votes are tallied by race? [06:21.160 --> 06:23.000] They do, but do you? [06:23.000 --> 06:24.240] How do you think that ends? [06:24.240 --> 06:27.040] It ends badly every single time. [06:27.040 --> 06:28.080] So why are they doing this? [06:28.080 --> 06:29.600] Well, it's pretty obvious why they're doing it. [06:29.600 --> 06:32.000] As long as voters are divided by race, [06:32.000 --> 06:33.800] and that's their aim, to divide them, [06:33.800 --> 06:36.400] they're less likely to notice that the real debates [06:36.400 --> 06:39.640] in this country and the real problems are about economics. [06:39.640 --> 06:41.560] Issues like rising inequality, [06:41.560 --> 06:43.640] a detached elite willing to cash out, [06:43.640 --> 06:46.880] even if it means sending all American jobs to China. [06:46.880 --> 06:49.400] For Wall Street, wokeness is a fantastic [06:49.400 --> 06:51.400] and highly effective diversion. [06:51.400 --> 06:53.400] Goldman Sachs will gladly issue a press release [06:53.400 --> 06:55.320] saying they're banning all white IPOs. [06:55.320 --> 06:56.880] They did it last month. [06:56.880 --> 06:58.080] They're happy to do it, [06:58.080 --> 07:01.280] as long as it keeps Democrats from raising their taxes. [07:01.280 --> 07:02.720] That's all they care about, is the money. [07:02.720 --> 07:05.600] And they're willing to rip the country in half, [07:05.600 --> 07:08.120] stoke racial conflict, get away with looting the country. [07:08.120 --> 07:09.400] That's the truth. [07:09.400 --> 07:10.440] Now, it's tempting to assume [07:10.440 --> 07:11.600] that the press is going along with this [07:11.600 --> 07:13.600] because they know what's happening, [07:13.600 --> 07:14.680] but that's probably not true. [07:14.680 --> 07:15.640] They're probably just dumb. [07:15.640 --> 07:17.000] They have no idea. [07:17.000 --> 07:18.880] These are the same people who thought Beto O'Rourke [07:18.880 --> 07:20.160] was the next Bobby Kennedy. [07:20.160 --> 07:21.400] They don't know anything. [07:21.400 --> 07:23.100] They don't even know what they're saying. [07:23.100 --> 07:23.940] Keep that in mind. [07:23.940 --> 07:24.760] The next time they tell you, [07:24.760 --> 07:26.320] Pete Buttigieg is gonna be president. [07:26.320 --> 07:27.440] Yeah, okay. [07:27.440 --> 07:28.720] Richard Goodstein is an attorney. [07:28.720 --> 07:30.240] He's a former advisor to Bill and Hillary Clinton. [07:30.240 --> 07:31.120] He joins us tonight. [07:31.120 --> 07:32.240] Richard, thanks so much for coming up. [07:32.240 --> 07:34.280] So I understand that you're upset about Bernie Sanders. [07:34.280 --> 07:35.100] I get it. [07:35.100 --> 07:36.360] I'm not for Bernie Sanders. [07:36.360 --> 07:39.440] But when Barack Obama was president, I hated it. [07:39.440 --> 07:40.440] I didn't think he was a good president, [07:40.440 --> 07:42.080] but at least I admitted he was president. [07:42.080 --> 07:43.280] I didn't pretend he wasn't. [07:43.280 --> 07:44.520] I'm seeing Democrats say, [07:44.520 --> 07:45.840] Bernie Sanders is just not the front runner [07:45.840 --> 07:47.960] because I don't want it to be true, so it can't be. [07:47.960 --> 07:49.320] What do you make of that? [07:49.320 --> 07:51.160] So there are two groups of people [07:51.160 --> 07:54.280] that talk about Bernie Sanders being front runner. [07:54.280 --> 07:56.560] One are Bernie Sanders supporters. [07:56.560 --> 07:59.720] Two are people who engage in wishful thinking, [07:59.720 --> 08:02.080] hoping that he'll be the front runner [08:02.080 --> 08:03.080] and the eventual nominee [08:03.080 --> 08:06.240] because they know what a weak general election candidate [08:07.280 --> 08:08.120] he'll be. [08:08.120 --> 08:10.640] I don't know where, since you declared him a front runner, [08:10.640 --> 08:12.600] I don't know which category you're in, [08:12.600 --> 08:14.120] but I'm just saying, that's it. [08:14.120 --> 08:15.880] And let me just say, [08:15.880 --> 08:17.360] 40 years ago at this exact point. [08:17.360 --> 08:18.860] No, I'm a math guy, actually. [08:18.860 --> 08:19.700] That's why I say that. [08:19.700 --> 08:20.540] 40 years ago. [08:20.540 --> 08:21.380] Because I'm looking at the numbers. [08:21.380 --> 08:23.100] 40 years ago at this precise time, [08:23.100 --> 08:24.440] right after New Hampshire, [08:24.440 --> 08:26.480] Bernie was actually up for delegates. [08:26.480 --> 08:29.160] He's now down to Buttigieg. [08:29.160 --> 08:32.120] So again, you have to accept what I'm saying. [08:32.120 --> 08:33.520] He's not the front runner [08:33.520 --> 08:35.320] other than in people's imagination. [08:36.200 --> 08:38.840] Okay, so since you mentioned it four years ago, [08:38.840 --> 08:39.680] I was on television then. [08:39.680 --> 08:40.600] You can check the tape. [08:40.600 --> 08:41.720] I never for one moment thought [08:41.720 --> 08:43.420] that Bernie Sanders was gonna be the nominee. [08:43.420 --> 08:44.520] I never thought he was the front runner. [08:44.520 --> 08:46.200] I don't care where he was in the process. [08:46.200 --> 08:47.680] I'm looking at this layout [08:47.680 --> 08:50.280] and I'm recognizing what's very obvious to anyone [08:50.280 --> 08:51.400] who's not emotionally involved, [08:51.400 --> 08:53.440] which is no one can stop Bernie. [08:53.440 --> 08:56.840] You can't hire some tiny mayor from New York [08:56.840 --> 08:58.200] or from South Bend even [08:58.200 --> 09:01.280] to come in and just like force himself on Democratic voters. [09:01.280 --> 09:02.340] They agree with Bernie. [09:02.340 --> 09:03.240] They like Bernie. [09:03.240 --> 09:04.760] And I don't see who's gonna stop him. [09:04.760 --> 09:05.600] Who is gonna stop him? [09:05.600 --> 09:06.420] Seriously. [09:06.420 --> 09:07.640] I think he's stopping himself [09:07.640 --> 09:09.480] and the evidence is actually in the numbers. [09:09.480 --> 09:13.600] He got less than half the vote in Iowa last week [09:13.600 --> 09:15.040] than he got four years ago. [09:15.040 --> 09:18.400] He got way less than half last night in New Hampshire [09:18.400 --> 09:20.600] than he got four years ago. [09:20.600 --> 09:21.720] I hate to interrupt. [09:21.720 --> 09:22.560] I'm sincerely, [09:22.560 --> 09:25.680] how many people was he running against four years ago? [09:25.680 --> 09:26.920] How many people was he running against this time? [09:26.920 --> 09:29.320] I mean, again, I refer you back to mathematics, [09:29.320 --> 09:31.880] which is like kind of a part of nature. [09:31.880 --> 09:32.780] Like it doesn't change, right? [09:32.780 --> 09:35.440] So he had many more opponents this time. [09:35.440 --> 09:37.400] So of course he got a smaller percentage, no? [09:37.400 --> 09:39.360] Well, but there were 75,000 people [09:39.360 --> 09:41.200] that voted for him last time [09:41.200 --> 09:42.540] that didn't vote for him this time. [09:42.540 --> 09:46.000] He won all but four towns in New Hampshire last time. [09:46.000 --> 09:48.300] He lost over 90 this time. [09:48.300 --> 09:51.280] So again, I'm saying he's not wearing well, [09:51.280 --> 09:52.480] to will. [09:52.480 --> 09:53.880] So you say who could beat him? [09:53.880 --> 09:55.280] The answer is all the, [09:55.280 --> 09:57.140] look, there's a narrative that says, [09:57.140 --> 09:59.240] oh, the Democrats are being overtaken by liberals [09:59.240 --> 10:01.360] and progressives and socialists. [10:01.360 --> 10:02.760] The voters say otherwise. [10:02.760 --> 10:04.760] The voters in the aggregate are voting more [10:04.760 --> 10:07.700] for moderate candidates in Iowa and New Hampshire so far [10:07.700 --> 10:09.200] than they are for liberals. [10:09.200 --> 10:11.040] It's simple and uncontested. [10:11.040 --> 10:12.280] You're absolutely right. [10:12.280 --> 10:13.240] Oh, no, you're totally right. [10:13.240 --> 10:16.200] The problem is aggregate is not a candidate. [10:17.200 --> 10:19.200] It's an amalgam of a bunch of people. [10:19.200 --> 10:20.720] It's a bunch of separate candidates. [10:20.720 --> 10:22.960] And Democrats have to line up behind somebody to beat him. [10:22.960 --> 10:24.840] And if they don't, he's the nominee, [10:24.840 --> 10:27.160] he'll lose, he'll get clobbered. [10:27.160 --> 10:29.160] Democrats can't stand in line, as you well know. [10:29.160 --> 10:30.560] They don't queue well. [10:30.560 --> 10:32.080] Richard, great to see you. [10:32.080 --> 10:34.240] Thank you. Thank you. [10:34.240 --> 10:37.080] So after Joe Biden, the other big loser on Tuesday [10:37.080 --> 10:39.000] was another ex-front runner, Elizabeth Warren. [10:39.000 --> 10:40.160] She finished fourth. [10:40.160 --> 10:41.460] She had barely half the votes [10:41.460 --> 10:44.240] of the third place finisher, Amy Klobuchar. [10:44.240 --> 10:45.440] If you're not good. [10:45.440 --> 10:47.720] So officially, Elizabeth Warren's presidential campaign [10:47.720 --> 10:48.600] is still going. [10:48.600 --> 10:51.280] Nobody believes really it means anything. [10:51.280 --> 10:52.320] In fact, we can't say at this point [10:52.320 --> 10:54.520] what exactly Elizabeth Warren is running for. [10:54.520 --> 10:55.960] Maybe she hopes to get a few delegates. [10:55.960 --> 10:58.840] She can exchange for a cabinet job if the Democrat wins. [10:58.840 --> 11:01.120] Maybe she wants to sabotage Bernie Sanders [11:01.120 --> 11:04.040] because he's a sexist by siphoning votes from him. [11:04.040 --> 11:05.560] Or maybe she just likes traveling around [11:05.560 --> 11:07.400] giving speeches with lots of servants around her [11:07.400 --> 11:09.800] and flying on private planes, which she loves to do. [11:09.800 --> 11:11.120] But one thing for certain, [11:11.120 --> 11:12.480] Warren is not running for president [11:12.480 --> 11:14.000] because she thinks she can become president [11:14.000 --> 11:15.520] because she can't. [11:15.520 --> 11:18.160] Despite that, in her non-concession speech last night, [11:18.160 --> 11:19.440] and this is very telling, [11:19.440 --> 11:22.320] Warren bragged about taking half the bank account [11:22.320 --> 11:25.560] of a broke college student to finance her doomed ambitions. [11:25.560 --> 11:27.040] Watch this. [11:27.040 --> 11:31.440] Young woman came up by herself and she said, [11:31.440 --> 11:36.200] I'm a broke college student with a lot of student loan debt. [11:36.200 --> 11:40.680] And she said, I checked and I have $6 in the bank. [11:40.680 --> 11:44.680] So I just gave $3 to keep you in this fight. [11:46.600 --> 11:47.960] That's what we got to do. [11:47.960 --> 11:49.160] We got to stay in this fight [11:49.160 --> 11:53.520] with people who are counting on us. [11:53.520 --> 11:57.560] She's literally begging money from the indigent [11:57.560 --> 12:00.400] to continue a campaign that can't win. [12:00.400 --> 12:01.800] It's not really a campaign at that point. [12:01.800 --> 12:03.880] It's a religious movement or a cult or something. [12:03.880 --> 12:06.040] But really, didn't even happen. [12:06.040 --> 12:07.880] Is the story real? Who knows? [12:07.880 --> 12:09.760] Warren has been caught lying about so many things [12:09.760 --> 12:10.760] we can actually check. [12:10.760 --> 12:13.080] Just imagine what she says when she can't be caught. [12:13.080 --> 12:14.720] I mean, really. [12:14.720 --> 12:16.760] So it's tempting to say that Warren collapsed, [12:16.760 --> 12:18.760] that her campaign died because she lies a lot. [12:18.760 --> 12:20.840] But that's actually not the case. [12:20.840 --> 12:22.200] Warren's been lying for a long time. [12:22.200 --> 12:23.720] She pretended to be an American Indian. [12:23.720 --> 12:24.560] Remember that? [12:24.560 --> 12:26.000] That happened before she launched her campaign. [12:26.000 --> 12:27.520] Voters knew it. [12:27.520 --> 12:29.640] And yet for a while she was the Democratic front runner. [12:29.640 --> 12:31.760] So clearly Democrats were willing [12:31.760 --> 12:34.000] to forgive her fabrications. [12:34.000 --> 12:36.640] No, she destroyed her campaign for a different, [12:36.640 --> 12:37.800] much more interesting reason. [12:37.800 --> 12:41.160] Warren fell apart for the same reason that Beto O'Rourke did. [12:41.160 --> 12:42.920] Because in place of a message, [12:42.920 --> 12:45.640] an actual message that unites people around ideas [12:45.640 --> 12:49.520] and policies, she went all in on wokeness. [12:49.520 --> 12:50.680] All in. [12:50.680 --> 12:53.080] Every appearance brought out a new facet [12:53.080 --> 12:55.600] to her remarkable wokeness. [12:55.600 --> 12:59.360] There was her town hall endorsing race-based reparations. [12:59.360 --> 13:03.360] I believe it's time to start the national, [13:03.360 --> 13:08.360] full-blown conversation about reparations in this country. [13:10.920 --> 13:12.000] So she wrote that for a while. [13:12.000 --> 13:14.080] But then by summer, that wasn't enough. [13:14.080 --> 13:15.600] Reparations, old hat. [13:15.600 --> 13:17.160] But Warren is nothing if not creative. [13:17.160 --> 13:21.120] So she invented a brand new kind of racism, [13:21.120 --> 13:22.360] a whole new category. [13:22.360 --> 13:23.200] Watch this. [13:24.440 --> 13:26.760] We live in a country now where the president [13:26.760 --> 13:29.280] is advancing environmental racism, [13:29.280 --> 13:32.640] economic racism, criminal justice racism, [13:32.640 --> 13:34.200] healthcare racism. [13:36.240 --> 13:40.120] Yep, Warren was pledging to fight healthcare racism. [13:40.120 --> 13:41.200] Is that committed by doctors? [13:41.200 --> 13:42.600] She never explained. [13:42.600 --> 13:44.520] Are nurses committing healthcare racism? [13:44.520 --> 13:46.640] Who knows, but she was gonna eliminate it. [13:46.640 --> 13:48.560] It was the last thing she did. [13:48.560 --> 13:50.040] But then she kept going. [13:50.040 --> 13:51.840] By early this year, Warren was promising [13:51.840 --> 13:55.840] to let transgender children pick her cabinet members. [13:55.840 --> 13:56.760] For real. [13:56.760 --> 14:00.080] I'm gonna have a secretary of education [14:00.080 --> 14:05.080] that this young trans person interviews on my behalf. [14:05.120 --> 14:08.280] And only if this person believes [14:08.280 --> 14:12.200] that our secretary or secretary of education nominee [14:12.200 --> 14:15.640] is someone who is committed to creating [14:15.640 --> 14:18.480] a welcoming environment, a safe environment, [14:18.480 --> 14:21.480] and a full educational curriculum for everyone, [14:21.480 --> 14:23.200] will that person actually be advanced [14:23.200 --> 14:25.040] to be secretary of education. [14:25.040 --> 14:25.880] Watch that. [14:25.880 --> 14:26.720] Let's do this. [14:29.200 --> 14:30.840] So was that pandering? [14:30.840 --> 14:32.560] Was that scripted? [14:32.560 --> 14:34.080] No, it wasn't. [14:34.080 --> 14:36.200] No lobby group told her to say that. [14:36.200 --> 14:38.080] You couldn't make that up. [14:38.080 --> 14:39.680] She came to that on her own. [14:39.680 --> 14:40.680] Cause you know what? [14:40.680 --> 14:41.880] She meant it. [14:41.880 --> 14:45.240] After a while, the wokeness infected her brain [14:45.240 --> 14:48.600] so completely, took over Elizabeth Warren [14:48.600 --> 14:50.200] that she really believed in gay couples. [14:50.200 --> 14:51.040] Great idea. [14:51.040 --> 14:52.840] Gender non-binary people, [14:52.840 --> 14:54.640] the backbone of our democracy. [14:54.640 --> 14:55.760] Watch that. [14:55.760 --> 14:58.040] Eventually it was too much. [14:58.040 --> 14:59.240] Even for liberals. [14:59.240 --> 15:00.080] They looked at this and said, [15:00.080 --> 15:02.360] what, what the hell are you talking about? [15:02.360 --> 15:03.360] Bernie Sanders, meanwhile, [15:03.360 --> 15:05.480] was promising universal healthcare. [15:05.480 --> 15:07.120] Something they actually want. [15:07.120 --> 15:08.160] Whether it's a good idea or not. [15:08.160 --> 15:09.800] Something people wanted. [15:09.800 --> 15:11.800] Warren tried to jump on and promise the same thing. [15:11.800 --> 15:13.520] Except she said she would magically do it [15:13.520 --> 15:15.440] without raising taxes on the middle-class. [15:15.440 --> 15:19.120] Again, even Democrats couldn't buy it after a while. [15:19.120 --> 15:21.480] When Warren finally gives up this charade, [15:21.480 --> 15:22.360] I'm running for president. [15:22.360 --> 15:24.160] No, you're not, please. [15:24.160 --> 15:27.800] Will you be able to sum her campaign up in three words? [15:27.800 --> 15:29.760] Died of wokeness. [15:32.360 --> 15:35.160] So if presidential campaigns were sold in kits [15:35.160 --> 15:36.280] like model airplanes, [15:36.280 --> 15:39.560] Pete Buttigieg would be president for life. [15:39.560 --> 15:42.120] He's so fake that if you look closely, [15:42.120 --> 15:45.200] you will see glue dripping from his shirt sleeves. [15:45.200 --> 15:47.040] Naturally the press loves him [15:47.040 --> 15:50.280] and loved him from the second he started running. [15:50.280 --> 15:53.000] There he was yesterday, front and center. [15:53.000 --> 15:55.640] Now third in the polls with a speech [15:55.640 --> 15:57.640] that many have said are historic. [15:57.640 --> 15:59.280] He's inspirational so far [15:59.280 --> 16:01.600] and that's something that voters absolutely want. [16:01.600 --> 16:03.240] He has this appeal for a lot of reasons. [16:03.240 --> 16:05.040] He is a veteran. [16:05.040 --> 16:06.320] He is openly gay. [16:06.320 --> 16:07.720] He is from Indiana. [16:07.720 --> 16:10.040] This guy is chicken soup for my soul. [16:12.960 --> 16:15.560] The thing about love is when it's real, [16:15.560 --> 16:17.760] it just gets deeper and more intense [16:17.760 --> 16:19.440] and sometimes even more passionate. [16:19.440 --> 16:21.240] 10 months later, that's where we are. [16:21.240 --> 16:23.000] The press loves him. [16:23.000 --> 16:24.760] Now most of America is wondering [16:24.760 --> 16:27.240] if Pete Buttigieg actually has a soul [16:27.240 --> 16:30.680] but late night MSNBC reporter Vaughn Hilliard gushed [16:30.680 --> 16:33.840] that the boy wonder has the greatest soul of all. [16:33.840 --> 16:35.240] God bless Pete Buttigieg [16:35.240 --> 16:38.120] but he kind of talks at the level of Mr. Rogers [16:38.120 --> 16:41.280] and with that sort of like composure and poise [16:41.280 --> 16:44.080] and if you go back and read the transcript of his speech, [16:44.080 --> 16:45.400] it's like he typed it out [16:45.400 --> 16:47.920] and he has the comma and everything perfectly [16:47.920 --> 16:49.440] because he speaks in perfect sentences. [16:49.440 --> 16:50.320] It's impressive. [16:50.320 --> 16:51.320] He's an amazing human being. [16:51.320 --> 16:53.600] Oftentimes you hear, especially these older voters [16:53.600 --> 16:55.520] who he's doing well with, is their son [16:55.520 --> 16:57.360] or the person that they want their son or daughter [16:57.360 --> 16:59.000] to be friends with or date. [17:01.560 --> 17:02.600] Yeah. [17:02.600 --> 17:05.760] You could sum him up, he's just an amazing human being. [17:05.760 --> 17:06.840] That's journalism. [17:06.840 --> 17:08.440] Chad McMorray is a journalist actually. [17:08.440 --> 17:09.280] He lives in New York [17:09.280 --> 17:10.920] and we're always happy to have him, especially tonight. [17:10.920 --> 17:11.760] Chad, great to see you. [17:11.760 --> 17:12.960] So you heard it. [17:12.960 --> 17:17.520] Pete Buttigieg is chicken soup for the soul. [17:17.520 --> 17:19.320] How do you assess that? [17:19.320 --> 17:21.360] They've certainly got a crush, don't they? [17:23.080 --> 17:25.040] Nothing he says makes any sense. [17:25.040 --> 17:26.480] You listen to him speak [17:26.480 --> 17:27.800] and it's like his speeches [17:27.800 --> 17:30.160] are put through an Obama word generator. [17:30.160 --> 17:33.480] We're going to imagineer the better future for the... [17:33.480 --> 17:35.920] He says nothing when he speaks. [17:35.920 --> 17:38.200] He has absolutely no leadership skills. [17:38.200 --> 17:39.720] He's accomplished nothing in his life [17:39.720 --> 17:42.200] that would impress an average person. [17:42.200 --> 17:44.880] It certainly impresses the folks who work in media [17:44.880 --> 17:46.160] that he's a Rhodes Scholar [17:46.160 --> 17:48.000] and can speak a couple of languages. [17:48.920 --> 17:49.760] Nothing else. [17:49.760 --> 17:51.960] 37 year old mayor of a crumbling, [17:51.960 --> 17:55.800] very, very racially and economically divided serfdom [17:55.800 --> 17:59.760] in Indiana and here they are trying to create [17:59.760 --> 18:01.400] a celebrity, trying to create a leader [18:01.400 --> 18:03.760] where they're absolutely, simply, [18:03.760 --> 18:08.760] without a doubt is not one and that is undeniable. [18:09.920 --> 18:13.480] It's every speech is an avalanche of banalities. [18:13.480 --> 18:16.360] I mean, you can suffocate beneath hollow phrases [18:16.360 --> 18:18.200] by the millions that just dumped down [18:18.200 --> 18:19.400] from Mount Buttigieg. [18:19.400 --> 18:23.000] So, I mean, does this guy have a chance? [18:23.000 --> 18:24.120] Well, here's what I keep thinking [18:24.120 --> 18:26.920] is that with Biden tanking in the early States. [18:26.920 --> 18:27.960] I mean, first of all, look, [18:27.960 --> 18:30.440] we just had primaries in the caucus and a primary [18:30.440 --> 18:32.480] in two of the whitest states in the country, right? [18:32.480 --> 18:34.000] And where Pete did fairly well. [18:34.000 --> 18:35.160] That's not so surprising. [18:35.160 --> 18:37.800] Pete does terrible among black voters. [18:37.800 --> 18:40.760] In recent polls with Democrat black voters, [18:40.760 --> 18:42.440] he didn't even register. [18:42.440 --> 18:45.280] That means less than 1%, close to 0%. [18:45.280 --> 18:46.720] Democrats can't win elections [18:46.720 --> 18:49.680] without black voters motivated to get out. [18:49.680 --> 18:51.320] They really don't like Mayor Pete. [18:51.320 --> 18:55.120] So the next couple of primaries will be interesting. [18:55.120 --> 18:57.520] I personally sort of see the party getting behind him [18:57.520 --> 19:00.560] because if the nation's sort of on to the fact [19:00.560 --> 19:02.200] that Biden is too incompetent [19:02.200 --> 19:04.600] or what have you to be their nominee, [19:04.600 --> 19:06.120] if there's anyone who looks like [19:06.120 --> 19:08.040] you can absolutely control him, [19:08.040 --> 19:10.000] if there's anyone who can get Wall Street money, [19:10.000 --> 19:11.960] if there's anyone who can be bought and sold [19:11.960 --> 19:14.920] and will just play ball, then it is Mayor Pete. [19:14.920 --> 19:16.840] The man just wants to be famous. [19:16.840 --> 19:18.400] He just wants to see his name. [19:19.400 --> 19:20.600] One of his top advisors. [19:20.600 --> 19:22.720] He just hired Goldman Sachs guy. [19:22.720 --> 19:23.560] Exactly. [19:23.560 --> 19:24.560] Chadwick Moore, great to see you tonight. [19:24.560 --> 19:25.800] Thank you. Thank you. [19:25.800 --> 19:29.040] Well, both the creepy porn lawyer and Jussie Smollett [19:29.040 --> 19:32.520] are facing prison time because ultimately justice is real. [19:32.520 --> 19:35.000] The one and only Nancy Grace is here just ahead. [19:35.000 --> 19:38.960] While justice does exist, it's often imperfect [19:38.960 --> 19:41.240] and it's never been more imperfect [19:41.240 --> 19:43.000] than the case of Roger Stone, [19:43.000 --> 19:46.840] who is facing a grossly unjust prison sentence. [19:46.840 --> 19:48.520] And it's likely only the president can fix it. [19:48.520 --> 19:49.360] We'll explain next. [19:49.360 --> 19:54.360] Have you started a free trial of Fox Nation yet? [23:57.720 --> 24:00.720] Back in November, former Trump advisor Roger Stone [24:00.720 --> 24:02.720] was convicted of several charges [24:02.720 --> 24:04.720] related to the now officially discredited [24:04.720 --> 24:06.720] Russia investigation. [24:06.720 --> 24:08.720] Prosecutors said that the investigation [24:08.720 --> 24:25.120] was a [24:25.120 --> 24:28.120] lie. [24:28.120 --> 24:30.120] Stone lied about communicating [24:30.120 --> 24:32.120] with a former stand-up comedian [24:32.120 --> 24:34.120] called Randy Credico, a man whose role [24:34.120 --> 24:36.120] in the story was so minor that it's [24:36.120 --> 24:38.120] already been lost to history. [24:38.120 --> 24:40.120] For this offense, prosecutors say Stone, [24:40.120 --> 24:43.120] who is 67 years old and has no criminal record, [24:43.120 --> 24:46.120] must spend up to nine years in prison. [24:46.120 --> 24:48.120] Now, for perspective on that sentence, [24:48.120 --> 24:50.120] the typical rapist in this country [24:50.120 --> 24:52.120] spends four years in prison. [24:52.120 --> 24:54.120] Armed robbers, three years. [24:54.120 --> 24:56.120] Thugs who commit violent assault, [24:56.120 --> 24:58.120] less than a year and a half. [24:58.120 --> 25:00.120] But Roger Stone must do nine years [25:00.120 --> 25:02.120] until he is 76 years old [25:02.120 --> 25:04.120] for lying. [25:04.120 --> 25:06.120] Now, there's some irony here. [25:06.120 --> 25:08.120] So-called criminal justice reform [25:08.120 --> 25:10.120] is fashionable in Washington right now. [25:10.120 --> 25:12.120] An awful lot of sex offenders and drug dealers [25:12.120 --> 25:14.120] and other predators, serious predators, [25:14.120 --> 25:16.120] have been released early from prison lately. [25:16.120 --> 25:18.120] It's compassionate, they're telling us. [25:18.120 --> 25:20.120] Yet somehow, nobody in D.C. [25:20.120 --> 25:22.120] believes that compassion ought to extend [25:22.120 --> 25:24.120] to Roger Stone, who is guilty [25:24.120 --> 25:26.120] of nonviolent, essentially [25:26.120 --> 25:28.120] political offenses. [25:28.120 --> 25:30.120] Notice the opposite. The usual moralizers [25:30.120 --> 25:32.120] seem gleeful at the thought that Stone [25:32.120 --> 25:34.120] will die in a cell. [25:34.120 --> 25:36.120] CNN has been especially ghoulish [25:36.120 --> 25:38.120] on the subject. You'll remember that [25:38.120 --> 25:40.120] prosecutors tipped off Jeff Zucker's [25:40.120 --> 25:42.120] network last year so they could have cameras in place [25:42.120 --> 25:44.120] when dozens of federal agents [25:44.120 --> 25:46.120] armed with automatic weapons dragged [25:46.120 --> 25:48.120] Roger Stone from his home at dawn. [25:48.120 --> 25:50.120] Talk about state TV. [25:50.120 --> 25:52.120] In the last two days, the hyenas on CNN [25:52.120 --> 25:54.120] have been driven to hysteria [25:54.120 --> 25:56.120] by the thought that the Justice Department might reduce [25:56.120 --> 25:58.120] Roger Stone's sentence even by a day. [25:58.120 --> 26:00.120] It is clearly [26:00.120 --> 26:02.120] utterly offensive [26:02.120 --> 26:04.120] to the rule of [26:04.120 --> 26:06.120] law. This is what sets this country [26:06.120 --> 26:08.120] apart. This is what [26:08.120 --> 26:10.120] a banana republic does. This is what [26:10.120 --> 26:12.120] a dictator does. It is [26:12.120 --> 26:14.120] outrageous. I hope people [26:14.120 --> 26:16.120] are infuriated [26:16.120 --> 26:18.120] by this. The reason they're doing [26:18.120 --> 26:20.120] it is slimy, sleazy, [26:20.120 --> 26:22.120] dirty. [26:22.120 --> 26:24.120] Roger Stone is somebody I [26:24.120 --> 26:26.120] hold in minimum high esteem. [26:26.120 --> 26:28.120] So I was not unhappy to [26:28.120 --> 26:30.120] see him get seven to nine. [26:30.120 --> 26:32.120] You didn't think that was too aggressive? [26:32.120 --> 26:34.120] I thought it was aggressive. [26:36.120 --> 26:38.120] Wait a second. Was that really [26:38.120 --> 26:40.120] John Dean telling you how [26:40.120 --> 26:42.120] happy he is that Roger Stone will die [26:42.120 --> 26:44.120] in jail? So CNN's [26:44.120 --> 26:46.120] moral arbiter on questions [26:46.120 --> 26:48.120] of law and order is literally a convicted [26:48.120 --> 26:50.120] felon? It's [26:50.120 --> 26:52.120] enough to make your head spin. But at least it's [26:52.120 --> 26:54.120] now clear what's actually going on. [26:54.120 --> 26:56.120] This is a pure political [26:56.120 --> 26:58.120] hit. Roger Stone is facing [26:58.120 --> 27:00.120] prison because he is a high profile [27:00.120 --> 27:02.120] Donald Trump supporter. It's that [27:02.120 --> 27:04.120] simple. You want proof? Here it is. [27:04.120 --> 27:06.120] John Brennan and James Clapper will [27:06.120 --> 27:08.120] sleep at home tonight. Both have been caught [27:08.120 --> 27:10.120] lying under oath on camera [27:10.120 --> 27:12.120] about matters of national importance. [27:12.120 --> 27:14.120] And yet neither's in jail. [27:14.120 --> 27:16.120] Neither's been indicted. Neither ever [27:16.120 --> 27:18.120] will be. The Stone [27:18.120 --> 27:20.120] case, by contrast, was [27:20.120 --> 27:22.120] transparently political from day one. [27:22.120 --> 27:24.120] The lead prosecutor, Andrew Weisman, [27:24.120 --> 27:26.120] is now literally an MSNBC [27:26.120 --> 27:28.120] contributor. The judge in the case, [27:28.120 --> 27:30.120] Amy Berman Jackson, is an out of [27:30.120 --> 27:32.120] control Democratic partisan who [27:32.120 --> 27:34.120] purely out of spite stripped Roger [27:34.120 --> 27:36.120] Stone of his First Amendment rights and [27:36.120 --> 27:38.120] prevented him from making a living, coming [27:38.120 --> 27:40.120] on this show, for example, speaking at all in public. [27:40.120 --> 27:42.120] Now Stone and his wife, [27:42.120 --> 27:44.120] who is 71 years old and [27:44.120 --> 27:46.120] deaf, have lost their home [27:46.120 --> 27:48.120] because of this. They have no insurance, [27:48.120 --> 27:50.120] they're utterly broke. [27:50.120 --> 27:52.120] The whole thing is shocking [27:52.120 --> 27:54.120] and it's disgusting. It's a farce [27:54.120 --> 27:56.120] that discredits the entire American justice [27:56.120 --> 27:58.120] system. The president seems to understand [27:58.120 --> 28:00.120] that. Cannot allow this [28:00.120 --> 28:02.120] miscarriage of justice, he tweeted recently. [28:02.120 --> 28:04.120] He's right. On a couple of [28:04.120 --> 28:06.120] levels. What's happening to Roger Stone [28:06.120 --> 28:08.120] is totally wrong. It's immoral and we [28:08.120 --> 28:10.120] should not allow it in this country. But [28:10.120 --> 28:12.120] politically it has significance too. [28:12.120 --> 28:14.120] Stone's prosecution was designed in part [28:14.120 --> 28:16.120] to confirm the fantasies that [28:16.120 --> 28:18.120] Democrats have constructed to explain the [28:18.120 --> 28:20.120] outcome of the 2016 election. [28:20.120 --> 28:22.120] His conviction helps their [28:22.120 --> 28:24.120] case. In other words, if the Russia [28:24.120 --> 28:26.120] collusion story was a hoax, and [28:26.120 --> 28:28.120] of course it most certainly was a hoax, [28:28.120 --> 28:30.120] then why is Roger Stone going to prison [28:30.120 --> 28:32.120] for his role in it? [28:32.120 --> 28:34.120] If Roger Stone serves even a [28:34.120 --> 28:36.120] single day behind bars, the Russia [28:36.120 --> 28:38.120] lie will be validated as true. [28:38.120 --> 28:40.120] Stone's imprisonment [28:40.120 --> 28:42.120] will be prima facie evidence [28:42.120 --> 28:44.120] in the view of Democrats. [28:44.120 --> 28:46.120] So at this point there's really only one solution. [28:46.120 --> 28:48.120] The president must pardon [28:48.120 --> 28:50.120] Roger Stone or commute his sentence [28:50.120 --> 28:52.120] before he goes to jail. [28:52.120 --> 28:54.120] Democrats will howl if he does that. [28:54.120 --> 28:56.120] Well they're howling anyway. They howl every day. [28:56.120 --> 28:58.120] Chuck Schumer is now yelping about yet another [28:58.120 --> 29:00.120] investigation into Roger Stone. [29:00.120 --> 29:02.120] Russia gate two! [29:02.120 --> 29:04.120] In one entirely [29:04.120 --> 29:06.120] constitutional act, the president Roger [29:06.120 --> 29:08.120] Stone's life vindicate himself [29:08.120 --> 29:10.120] and end this nonsense [29:10.120 --> 29:12.120] forever. Let's hope he does it. [29:12.120 --> 29:14.120] We'll be watching. [29:16.120 --> 29:18.120] Tom Fitton has been following the Roger [29:18.120 --> 29:20.120] Stone case since day one. He joins us [29:20.120 --> 29:22.120] tonight. He's of course the president of Judicial Watch. [29:22.120 --> 29:24.120] Tom, this is the [29:24.120 --> 29:26.120] most political prosecution [29:26.120 --> 29:28.120] I've ever seen in this country. [29:28.120 --> 29:30.120] The more you know about it, the more shocking [29:30.120 --> 29:32.120] it is. [29:32.120 --> 29:34.120] Tell us why we should [29:34.120 --> 29:36.120] doubt the [29:36.120 --> 29:38.120] fairness of these proceedings. [29:38.120 --> 29:40.120] Well it arises out of the Mueller investigation [29:40.120 --> 29:42.120] which has been thoroughly [29:42.120 --> 29:44.120] compromised by not only the FISA [29:44.120 --> 29:46.120] but the political nature [29:46.120 --> 29:48.120] of the investigators [29:48.120 --> 29:50.120] most of whom were Democrats or [29:50.120 --> 29:52.120] Democrat donors. You [29:52.120 --> 29:54.120] also have them investigating Trump [29:54.120 --> 29:56.120] for almost two years [29:56.120 --> 29:58.120] knowing the underlying issue. [29:58.120 --> 30:00.120] Russia collusion was a big scam [30:00.120 --> 30:02.120] and a big lie. They knew that from the get go. [30:02.120 --> 30:04.120] And on the Stone case [30:04.120 --> 30:06.120] you have at least two of the investigators [30:06.120 --> 30:08.120] two of the prosecutors who quote resigned [30:08.120 --> 30:10.120] from the case were Mueller operatives [30:10.120 --> 30:12.120] who have obviously an [30:12.120 --> 30:14.120] interest here. And so when you have [30:14.120 --> 30:16.120] prosecutors in the Justice Department [30:16.120 --> 30:18.120] three of whom by the way who resigned [30:18.120 --> 30:20.120] three of those were [30:20.120 --> 30:22.120] Democrats as best I can tell. [30:22.120 --> 30:24.120] Pushing for a [30:24.120 --> 30:26.120] sentence that the law doesn't require. [30:26.120 --> 30:28.120] They're talking about putting someone [30:28.120 --> 30:30.120] in jail extra for an [30:30.120 --> 30:32.120] extra period of time beyond [30:32.120 --> 30:34.120] what the law would require. That's according [30:34.120 --> 30:36.120] to the Justice Department's own filing [30:36.120 --> 30:38.120] on Tuesday. [30:38.120 --> 30:40.120] I don't understand. Hold on. [30:40.120 --> 30:42.120] None of these so-called crimes [30:42.120 --> 30:44.120] would have been prosecuted if he [30:44.120 --> 30:46.120] hadn't been pulled into an investigation [30:46.120 --> 30:48.120] that led nowhere. [30:48.120 --> 30:50.120] In other words he's being put in [30:50.120 --> 30:52.120] he's being put in prison [30:52.120 --> 30:54.120] as an ancillary victim of [30:54.120 --> 30:56.120] an investigation that turned out to be fruitless. [30:56.120 --> 30:58.120] So it's [30:58.120 --> 31:00.120] insane if you think. Yeah I mean [31:00.120 --> 31:02.120] that's presuming that there should have been a charge [31:02.120 --> 31:04.120] to begin with. He called [31:04.120 --> 31:06.120] this guy threatened his dog. It was [31:06.120 --> 31:08.120] obviously a silly threat. It wasn't a serious [31:08.120 --> 31:10.120] threat. It wasn't taken seriously [31:10.120 --> 31:12.120] by the alleged victim. He's a dog lover. The whole thing [31:12.120 --> 31:14.120] is a lie. And these prosecutors go to [31:14.120 --> 31:16.120] the court the other day these Mueller guys [31:16.120 --> 31:18.120] and tell the court this is all part [31:18.120 --> 31:20.120] of the foreign intervention which was a big [31:20.120 --> 31:22.120] lie. So you know [31:22.120 --> 31:24.120] there's a scandal at the Justice Department. [31:24.120 --> 31:26.120] It has nothing to do with Bob Barr. [31:26.120 --> 31:28.120] It has everything to do with these prosecutors [31:28.120 --> 31:30.120] who are acting like their own [31:30.120 --> 31:32.120] their own little team independent [31:32.120 --> 31:34.120] of the rule of law to [31:34.120 --> 31:36.120] target President Trump to try to [31:36.120 --> 31:38.120] vindicate the Mueller scam [31:38.120 --> 31:40.120] and slap at Trump after his [31:40.120 --> 31:42.120] vindication by acquittal [31:42.120 --> 31:44.120] in the impeachment thing. This is all about [31:44.120 --> 31:46.120] politics and they want to put it [31:46.120 --> 31:48.120] You're right. [31:48.120 --> 31:50.120] If they send him to prison they will use the fact [31:50.120 --> 31:52.120] he went to prison as a way [31:52.120 --> 31:54.120] to claim the Russian investigation [31:54.120 --> 31:56.120] was real. This man needs a pardon before [31:56.120 --> 31:58.120] he goes to jail for real. [31:58.120 --> 32:00.120] I'm sorry we're totally [32:00.120 --> 32:02.120] out of time. I'm being [32:02.120 --> 32:04.120] Trump to pardon everyone [32:04.120 --> 32:06.120] caught up in the Mueller scheme. [32:06.120 --> 32:08.120] I agree with that but particularly Roger [32:08.120 --> 32:10.120] Stone. Thank you. Most of the time [32:10.120 --> 32:12.120] fortunately the justice system does what it's supposed [32:12.120 --> 32:14.120] to do. Case in point [32:14.120 --> 32:16.120] Jussie Smollett and the creepy porn layer both [32:16.120 --> 32:18.120] learning right now that they're in trouble. [32:18.120 --> 32:20.120] Probably for good reason. Nancy Grace [32:20.120 --> 32:24.120] joins us to assess after the break. [32:24.120 --> 32:26.120] He [32:26.120 --> 32:28.120] could have been king. We will defeat [32:28.120 --> 32:30.120] our enemies. He chose to be [32:30.120 --> 32:32.120] President. [36:55.120 --> 36:57.120] We've got news tonight from the ongoing saga [36:57.120 --> 36:59.120] of the creepy porn lawyer. [36:59.120 --> 37:01.120] Chief Breaking News correspondent, Trace Gallagher, is here [37:01.120 --> 37:03.120] with more on CPL. Trace? [37:03.120 --> 37:05.120] Yeah, Tucker, the jury deliberated for five hours [37:05.120 --> 37:07.120] today before calling it a day. They're considering [37:07.120 --> 37:09.120] three separate charges, but the big one [37:09.120 --> 37:11.120] is extortion, which could send Stormy [37:11.120 --> 37:13.120] Daniels' former attorney to prison for [37:13.120 --> 37:15.120] decades. He's accused of demanding [37:15.120 --> 37:17.120] that Nike pay him $25 million [37:17.120 --> 37:19.120] in exchange for him not going public [37:19.120 --> 37:21.120] with allegations that Nike was [37:21.120 --> 37:23.120] bribing high school athletes. [37:23.120 --> 37:25.120] During closing arguments, prosecutors played [37:25.120 --> 37:27.120] audio recordings of Stormy's former [37:27.120 --> 37:29.120] lawyer, threatening to blow the whistle [37:29.120 --> 37:31.120] on Nike. Prosecutors told the jury, [37:31.120 --> 37:33.120] quote, that's what extortion sounds [37:33.120 --> 37:35.120] like. Defense attorneys insist [37:35.120 --> 37:37.120] there was no extortion and that the audio [37:37.120 --> 37:39.120] tapes were simply the rantings [37:39.120 --> 37:41.120] of an aggressive lawyer. Win or [37:41.120 --> 37:43.120] lose after this trial, Stormy's [37:43.120 --> 37:45.120] former lawyer goes back to court [37:45.120 --> 37:47.120] on charges that he tried to cheat Stormy [37:47.120 --> 37:49.120] herself out of the proceeds [37:49.120 --> 37:51.120] of her book deal. That trial [37:51.120 --> 37:53.120] set to begin April 21st. He's [37:53.120 --> 37:55.120] also facing federal charges for stealing [37:55.120 --> 37:57.120] money from his other clients to maintain [37:57.120 --> 37:59.120] his beach houses, private planes, [37:59.120 --> 38:01.120] and luxury vacations. For now, [38:01.120 --> 38:03.120] he's staying at the not-so-luxurious [38:03.120 --> 38:05.120] Manhattan Metropolitan [38:05.120 --> 38:07.120] Correctional Center. Tucker. [38:07.120 --> 38:09.120] Trace Gallagher, thanks for [38:09.120 --> 38:11.120] that update. Yep. And more [38:11.120 --> 38:13.120] justice news tonight from the story of [38:13.120 --> 38:15.120] Jussie Smollett, which is not over. A year [38:15.120 --> 38:17.120] ago, you remember, the Chicago state's attorney [38:17.120 --> 38:19.120] Kimberly Fox, a friend of the Obamas, [38:19.120 --> 38:21.120] not surprisingly, inexplicably [38:21.120 --> 38:23.120] and clearly [38:23.120 --> 38:25.120] wrongly dropped all charges against [38:25.120 --> 38:27.120] Jussie Smollett for committing a fake [38:27.120 --> 38:29.120] hate crime. Now a special prosecutor has [38:29.120 --> 38:31.120] brought new charges. Nancy [38:31.120 --> 38:33.120] Grace hosts Crime Stories of Nancy Grace [38:33.120 --> 38:35.120] right here on Fox Nation. We're happy [38:35.120 --> 38:37.120] to have her tonight. Nancy, thanks so much for coming on. [38:37.120 --> 38:39.120] Thank you for inviting me. So a lot of us never thought [38:39.120 --> 38:41.120] that Jussie Smollett [38:41.120 --> 38:43.120] would be back in court. How did this happen? [38:43.120 --> 38:45.120] Well, this is what happened. [38:45.120 --> 38:47.120] When Kim Fox, [38:47.120 --> 38:49.120] the then state's attorney [38:49.120 --> 38:51.120] there in Chicago, suddenly [38:51.120 --> 38:53.120] mysteriously and abruptly [38:53.120 --> 38:55.120] dropped charges against Jussie Smollett [38:55.120 --> 38:57.120] after speaking to his [38:57.120 --> 38:59.120] family and also [38:59.120 --> 39:01.120] people within Michelle Obamas [39:01.120 --> 39:03.120] staff, [39:03.120 --> 39:05.120] she suddenly dropped charges. [39:05.120 --> 39:07.120] Even when asked why, she could not [39:07.120 --> 39:09.120] articulate why. Well, everybody [39:09.120 --> 39:11.120] went berserk. I'm talking [39:11.120 --> 39:13.120] about the police chief, the [39:13.120 --> 39:15.120] union, the police union. [39:15.120 --> 39:17.120] They were angry. They wanted her head. [39:17.120 --> 39:19.120] Then [39:19.120 --> 39:21.120] an independent investigator was [39:21.120 --> 39:23.120] named to foresee, [39:23.120 --> 39:25.120] to oversee what was happening. [39:25.120 --> 39:27.120] And about 11 months later, [39:27.120 --> 39:29.120] and interestingly, Tucker, [39:29.120 --> 39:31.120] after a sweeping [39:31.120 --> 39:33.120] search warrant, two of them [39:33.120 --> 39:35.120] demanding that Google [39:35.120 --> 39:37.120] hand over emails, texts, [39:37.120 --> 39:39.120] voice dictation, cloud, [39:39.120 --> 39:41.120] everything of [39:41.120 --> 39:43.120] Smollett and his manager [39:43.120 --> 39:45.120] about one month later, [39:45.120 --> 39:47.120] this new indictment comes down. [39:47.120 --> 39:49.120] It's six counts, each one of [39:49.120 --> 39:51.120] them a separate count. [39:51.120 --> 39:53.120] And it's not just about [39:53.120 --> 39:55.120] felony, although it's called disorderly conduct. [39:55.120 --> 39:57.120] He's looking at one to three on each [39:57.120 --> 39:59.120] one plus a fine. Interesting. [39:59.120 --> 40:01.120] One other thing. Another [40:01.120 --> 40:03.120] thing they did in this indictment that I [40:03.120 --> 40:05.120] really admire with a police [40:05.120 --> 40:07.120] officer, Muhammad Baig, [40:07.120 --> 40:09.120] he tells him the story. Then he tells [40:09.120 --> 40:11.120] a detective, Kimberly Murray, the [40:11.120 --> 40:13.120] story. Then he tells detective [40:13.120 --> 40:15.120] Robert Graves the story, each [40:15.120 --> 40:17.120] one of those a separate count. [40:17.120 --> 40:19.120] It's what we thought he was guilty of [40:19.120 --> 40:21.120] the first time. So this [40:21.120 --> 40:23.120] gives us even no reason. [40:23.120 --> 40:25.120] Right. So this does [40:25.120 --> 40:27.120] make us wonder even more [40:27.120 --> 40:29.120] if there was corruption involved [40:29.120 --> 40:31.120] in the charges being dropped [40:31.120 --> 40:33.120] by the state's attorney, Kimberly Fox. [40:33.120 --> 40:35.120] I think there's going to be another [40:35.120 --> 40:37.120] ongoing investigation [40:37.120 --> 40:39.120] regarding Kim Fox dropping [40:39.120 --> 40:41.120] the charges and why. [40:41.120 --> 40:43.120] But you know, it really [40:43.120 --> 40:45.120] disturbs me. I have [40:45.120 --> 40:47.120] worked on hate crimes, Tucker, [40:47.120 --> 40:49.120] back when we didn't even have [40:49.120 --> 40:51.120] the phraseology hate crimes. [40:51.120 --> 40:53.120] And I had a [40:53.120 --> 40:55.120] particular case that went all the way [40:55.120 --> 40:57.120] to the Georgia Supreme Court where young [40:57.120 --> 40:59.120] African American males [40:59.120 --> 41:01.120] were raped and [41:01.120 --> 41:03.120] they were shot in the head and they were [41:03.120 --> 41:05.120] stabbed and they were found lying [41:05.120 --> 41:07.120] around in Atlanta where their pants [41:07.120 --> 41:09.120] pulled down. That's a hate crime. [41:09.120 --> 41:11.120] That is a hate crime. And now [41:11.120 --> 41:13.120] when other hate crime victims [41:13.120 --> 41:15.120] go in front of the jury, [41:15.120 --> 41:17.120] they're going to go back to the jury and go, hmm, [41:17.120 --> 41:19.120] you think they're pulling a Smollett? [41:19.120 --> 41:21.120] You think this is like Jesse [41:21.120 --> 41:23.120] Smollett? That's what he's done. [41:23.120 --> 41:25.120] And another thing, over time [41:25.120 --> 41:27.120] and now they drop [41:27.120 --> 41:29.120] the charges. Are you kidding me? What a slap [41:29.120 --> 41:31.120] in the face. [41:31.120 --> 41:33.120] Do you think having been around the justice system [41:33.120 --> 41:35.120] for a long time, if Jesse Smollett had just [41:35.120 --> 41:37.120] been an ordinary person and not an actor [41:37.120 --> 41:39.120] who had connections to the Obamas, [41:39.120 --> 41:41.120] that he would have gotten away with this the first [41:41.120 --> 41:43.120] time? Oh, no. The charges [41:43.120 --> 41:45.120] would have been brought. You had the [41:45.120 --> 41:47.120] police chief, you had the police union, [41:47.120 --> 41:49.120] detectives, 2,000 overtime [41:49.120 --> 41:51.120] hours, thousands [41:51.120 --> 41:53.120] and thousands of dollars [41:53.120 --> 41:55.120] spent on this. And it's so [41:55.120 --> 41:57.120] obvious what he did. [41:57.120 --> 41:59.120] He used hate, [41:59.120 --> 42:01.120] hate crimes [42:01.120 --> 42:03.120] to his advantage to make more [42:03.120 --> 42:05.120] money. He was already pulling down 65 [42:05.120 --> 42:07.120] grand per episode. [42:07.120 --> 42:09.120] Yes. And [42:09.120 --> 42:11.120] that didn't make him happy. First, there were [42:11.120 --> 42:13.120] those letters, the letter that came [42:13.120 --> 42:15.120] to the Empire set. I can't wait to see [42:15.120 --> 42:17.120] this because it looks like it [42:17.120 --> 42:19.120] came out of a murder she wrote or Nancy Drew [42:19.120 --> 42:21.120] where they cut out the words [42:21.120 --> 42:23.120] and drew a little man hanging [42:23.120 --> 42:25.120] with his, using hate, [42:25.120 --> 42:27.120] using an African [42:27.120 --> 42:29.120] American man with a rope around his [42:29.120 --> 42:31.120] neck to conjure up all [42:31.120 --> 42:33.120] those horrible, hateful memories [42:33.120 --> 42:35.120] and images and use them to get [42:35.120 --> 42:37.120] a raise? Uh-uh. [42:37.120 --> 42:39.120] That's not going to work. Uh-uh. [42:39.120 --> 42:41.120] He's going down. It worked in the media. Robin [42:41.120 --> 42:43.120] Roberts believed him. [42:43.120 --> 42:45.120] Well, I don't know about that just because she was [42:45.120 --> 42:47.120] polite to him for Pete's sake. [42:47.120 --> 42:49.120] You know, I mean, she's got a guess. [42:49.120 --> 42:51.120] I can't ever be accused [42:51.120 --> 42:53.120] of being polite to somebody I think is [42:53.120 --> 42:55.120] lying. But, hey, [42:55.120 --> 42:57.120] I don't care about what the media thought. [42:57.120 --> 42:59.120] I care about what a jury thinks. [42:59.120 --> 43:01.120] Other victims that now [43:01.120 --> 43:03.120] will be tainted because of Jesse [43:03.120 --> 43:05.120] Smollett. Yes. [43:05.120 --> 43:07.120] Nancy Grace. [43:07.120 --> 43:09.120] Great to see you tonight. Likewise. [43:11.120 --> 43:13.120] Thank you. [43:13.120 --> 43:15.120] Well, kind of a shocking story out of Virginia [43:15.120 --> 43:17.120] tonight. New gun control laws [43:17.120 --> 43:19.120] designed to punish [43:19.120 --> 43:21.120] non-violent, non-criminal. [43:21.120 --> 43:23.120] Because they're voting the wrong way. [43:23.120 --> 43:25.120] Our investigation into that [43:25.120 --> 43:35.120] next. [43:55.120 --> 43:57.120] I back my pillow with a 10-year warranty [43:57.120 --> 43:59.120] and a 60-day money-back guarantee. [43:59.120 --> 44:01.120] Not only that, I do all my own manufacturing [44:01.120 --> 44:03.120] in my home state of Minnesota. [44:03.120 --> 44:05.120] I really like the fact that it was made in the USA. [44:05.120 --> 44:07.120] I think that USA products are a better quality [44:07.120 --> 44:09.120] product. I've tried a lot of other pillows [44:09.120 --> 44:11.120] and nothing's worked like my pillow. [44:11.120 --> 44:13.120] I'm interrupting this commercial right now [44:13.120 --> 44:15.120] to give you deep discounts, not just [44:15.120 --> 44:17.120] on my pillows, but also my mattress, [44:17.120 --> 44:19.120] topper, sheets, and so much more. [44:19.120 --> 44:21.120] For example, you can get body [44:21.120 --> 44:23.120] pillows, regular 89.99, [44:23.120 --> 44:25.120] now $29.99, [44:25.120 --> 44:27.120] or My Pillow Dog Beds for as low as [44:27.120 --> 44:29.120] $19.99 with your promo code. [44:29.120 --> 44:31.120] I used to think that sheets [44:31.120 --> 44:33.120] were just sheets. I got the Giza Dream [44:33.120 --> 44:35.120] Sheets. They are the most comfortable [44:35.120 --> 44:37.120] sheets I've ever had. The Go Anywhere [44:37.120 --> 44:39.120] pillow is so easy to just [44:39.120 --> 44:41.120] roll up and take anywhere [44:41.120 --> 44:43.120] I want to go. Go Anywhere pillow is really [44:43.120 --> 44:45.120] comfortable. So that's what I really like. It's nice and [44:45.120 --> 44:47.120] supportive and it's nice and small. My pillow [44:47.120 --> 44:49.120] topper, for the first time, has enabled me to have [44:49.120 --> 44:51.120] a cool night's sleep. I'm [44:51.120 --> 44:53.120] able to go to bed and just get rest. [44:53.120 --> 44:55.120] That's three inches of wonderful [44:55.120 --> 44:57.120] that's in the My Pillow mattress topper. [44:57.120 --> 44:59.120] It's just like a firm cloud. [44:59.120 --> 45:01.120] My pillow helps me get a good night's sleep [45:01.120 --> 45:03.120] so I can do my job [45:03.120 --> 45:05.120] in the morning. Go to MyPillow.com [45:05.120 --> 45:07.120] to get deep discounts, not just [45:07.120 --> 45:09.120] on my pillows, but so much more. [45:09.120 --> 45:11.120] For example, you get body [45:11.120 --> 45:13.120] pillows, regular 89.99, [45:13.120 --> 45:15.120] now only $29.99, [45:15.120 --> 45:17.120] or My Pillow Dog Beds for as low [45:17.120 --> 45:19.120] as $19.99 with your promo [45:19.120 --> 45:21.120] code. [45:49.120 --> 45:51.120] We're Renewal by Anderson, the one [45:51.120 --> 45:53.120] and only replacement window division of [45:53.120 --> 45:55.120] Anderson. We sell and install the [45:55.120 --> 45:57.120] replacement windows that your dad would tell you [45:57.120 --> 45:59.120] to buy, partly because the engineering [45:59.120 --> 46:01.120] is so impressive. [46:01.120 --> 46:03.120] Here's your typical patio door lock. [46:03.120 --> 46:05.120] And here's our [46:05.120 --> 46:07.120] Reach Out locking system. [46:09.120 --> 46:11.120] It literally pulls the door [46:11.120 --> 46:13.120] into the door frame for a tighter fit [46:13.120 --> 46:15.120] and even greater security. [46:15.120 --> 46:17.120] Think about the most airtight door in your house. [46:17.120 --> 46:19.120] It's your refrigerator, right? [46:19.120 --> 46:21.120] Don't you wish your windows and doors could be that airtight? [46:21.120 --> 46:23.120] Well, our windows use a similar [46:23.120 --> 46:25.120] compression seal as your fridge. [46:25.120 --> 46:27.120] It helps keep dust, water, and drafts [46:27.120 --> 46:29.120] out of your home. And because our windows [46:29.120 --> 46:31.120] are custom built, we have window styles that [46:31.120 --> 46:33.120] make rooms feel bigger and allow [46:33.120 --> 46:35.120] even more light into your home. [46:35.120 --> 46:37.120] Our engineers really thought of everything. [46:37.120 --> 46:39.120] Now, what about the installation? [46:39.120 --> 46:41.120] A lot of window companies make their installers [46:41.120 --> 46:43.120] buy their own materials. [46:43.120 --> 46:45.120] But if they're buying their own, they're probably buying [46:45.120 --> 46:47.120] the low-end stuff. And those low-end [46:47.120 --> 46:49.120] installation materials just don't last. [46:49.120 --> 46:51.120] We insist only on using [46:51.120 --> 46:53.120] the highest quality materials. That's why we [46:53.120 --> 46:55.120] supply everything to our installers. [46:55.120 --> 46:57.120] This way we can ensure you're getting the best [46:57.120 --> 46:59.120] insulation, sealants, and trim. [46:59.120 --> 47:01.120] And this is one of the reasons our windows and [47:01.120 --> 47:03.120] doors last so long. [47:03.120 --> 47:05.120] We have so many local customers. [47:05.120 --> 47:07.120] Let us help make this project affordable for you [47:07.120 --> 47:09.120] as well. We're the company that actually replaces [47:09.120 --> 47:11.120] other companies' windows and doors. [47:11.120 --> 47:13.120] Give us a call. Renewal by [47:13.120 --> 47:15.120] Anderson has declared February [47:15.120 --> 47:17.120] National Replacement Window Month. [47:17.120 --> 47:19.120] Save 20% on windows and [47:19.120 --> 47:21.120] save 20% on patio doors. [47:21.120 --> 47:23.120] Plus, take an extra $150 off [47:23.120 --> 47:25.120] your entire order. And with our financing, [47:25.120 --> 47:27.120] don't pay anything for [47:27.120 --> 47:29.120] one year. For an appointment during [47:29.120 --> 47:31.120] this event, call before February [47:31.120 --> 47:35.120] 29th, 1-800-993-2600. [47:39.120 --> 47:41.120] The state of Virginia has [47:41.120 --> 47:43.120] some of the lowest crime rates in America. [47:43.120 --> 47:45.120] Despite that, Democrats are determined to curtail [47:45.120 --> 47:47.120] the constitutional rights of its citizens. [47:47.120 --> 47:49.120] The House of Delegates in Virginia is to approve new gun [47:49.120 --> 47:51.120] control legislation promoted by [47:51.120 --> 47:53.120] Governor Klan costume, Governor Blackface, [47:53.120 --> 47:55.120] Ralph Northam. The bill, [47:55.120 --> 47:57.120] if it passed to the Senate, would ban the sale of so-called [47:57.120 --> 47:59.120] assault weapons, whatever those are. [47:59.120 --> 48:01.120] It would also ban all gun magazines that carry [48:01.120 --> 48:03.120] more than a dozen rounds, which is [48:03.120 --> 48:05.120] a lot of them. Our team went to Virginia [48:05.120 --> 48:07.120] to investigate what's going on there. Here's what they found. [48:07.120 --> 48:09.120] I'd pacify myself [48:09.120 --> 48:11.120] as a gun enthusiast. [48:11.120 --> 48:13.120] Meet Danny Diggs, [48:13.120 --> 48:15.120] sheriff of York County, Virginia. [48:15.120 --> 48:17.120] If the governor told you to confiscate [48:17.120 --> 48:19.120] AR-15s, would you do it? [48:19.120 --> 48:21.120] Well, as it stands right now, [48:21.120 --> 48:23.120] no. [48:23.120 --> 48:25.120] Diggs is at the center [48:25.120 --> 48:27.120] of a grassroots backlash [48:27.120 --> 48:29.120] against gun control measures, [48:29.120 --> 48:31.120] being pushed by the governor of Virginia, [48:31.120 --> 48:33.120] Ralph Northam. The governor cannot tell me [48:33.120 --> 48:35.120] to do that. I don't work for the government. [48:35.120 --> 48:37.120] In response to the gun control measures, [48:37.120 --> 48:39.120] York County, Virginia became a Second Amendment [48:39.120 --> 48:41.120] sanctuary. County supervisor [48:41.120 --> 48:43.120] Chad Green wrote the resolution. [48:43.120 --> 48:45.120] Does that mean that the county's not going to enforce [48:45.120 --> 48:47.120] the gun laws? It means that we are [48:47.120 --> 48:49.120] opposed to any [48:49.120 --> 48:51.120] unnecessary regulation [48:51.120 --> 48:53.120] and gun laws. That's [48:53.120 --> 48:55.120] just symbolic, then? No, it [48:55.120 --> 48:57.120] has teeth, and it is [48:57.120 --> 48:59.120] legally binding and enforceable. [48:59.120 --> 49:01.120] Nearly all of Virginia's counties have enacted [49:01.120 --> 49:03.120] Second Amendment sanctuary resolutions [49:03.120 --> 49:05.120] that protect gun owners. [49:05.120 --> 49:07.120] We don't need more legislation. The Virginia [49:07.120 --> 49:09.120] Showdown is the biggest clash yet between [49:09.120 --> 49:11.120] Bloomberg-backed anti-gun groups and [49:11.120 --> 49:13.120] firearms owners in the South. [49:13.120 --> 49:15.120] Do you keep one in the chamber? [49:15.120 --> 49:17.120] Yes, at all times. [49:19.120 --> 49:21.120] Beatrice Huptich [49:21.120 --> 49:23.120] is a Virginia-based firearms instructor. [49:23.120 --> 49:25.120] Virginia definitely [49:25.120 --> 49:27.120] is a testing ground for [49:27.120 --> 49:29.120] what can happen. Bloomberg's [49:29.120 --> 49:31.120] anti-gun group spent $2.5 million [49:31.120 --> 49:33.120] in Virginia's last election cycle [49:33.120 --> 49:35.120] alone. It paid off. Democrats [49:35.120 --> 49:37.120] now control Virginia for the first time [49:37.120 --> 49:39.120] in decades. The Democrats' proposals [49:39.120 --> 49:41.120] include a ban on semi-automatic [49:41.120 --> 49:43.120] rifles, mandatory background [49:43.120 --> 49:45.120] checks, red flag laws, and a prohibition [49:45.120 --> 49:47.120] on magazines that carry more than [49:47.120 --> 49:49.120] ten rounds. Most magazines [49:49.120 --> 49:51.120] carry more than ten rounds, and that would [49:51.120 --> 49:53.120] make me a felon. Nancy Lee Dixon [49:53.120 --> 49:55.120] is a longtime Virginian. She opposes [49:55.120 --> 49:57.120] new gun control measures. It's my [49:57.120 --> 49:59.120] constitutional right. It says, you know, [49:59.120 --> 50:01.120] the right to bear arms. It doesn't [50:01.120 --> 50:03.120] say the right to bear [50:03.120 --> 50:05.120] a BB gun. In [50:05.120 --> 50:07.120] 2013, the state of Maryland banned [50:07.120 --> 50:09.120] the sale of magazines that carry more than ten [50:09.120 --> 50:11.120] rounds. The law didn't make people [50:11.120 --> 50:13.120] safer. Since it passed, police started [50:13.120 --> 50:15.120] recovering more large magazines at the [50:15.120 --> 50:17.120] scenes of crimes. The state's murder rate [50:17.120 --> 50:19.120] rose 40 percent in three years. [50:19.120 --> 50:21.120] Laws only pertain [50:21.120 --> 50:23.120] to those who want to abide [50:23.120 --> 50:25.120] by them in the first place. Northam [50:25.120 --> 50:27.120] and his water carriers in the media call [50:27.120 --> 50:29.120] those laws common sense [50:29.120 --> 50:31.120] safety measures. Sheriff Diggs disagrees. [50:31.120 --> 50:33.120] Common sense would say [50:33.120 --> 50:35.120] the most dangerous place in America is a [50:35.120 --> 50:37.120] gun-free zone. I can tell you right now, [50:37.120 --> 50:39.120] I don't abide by gun-free zones. [50:39.120 --> 50:41.120] Perhaps the most significant [50:41.120 --> 50:43.120] factor helping Bloomberg is Virginia's [50:43.120 --> 50:45.120] rapidly changing demographics. The majority [50:45.120 --> 50:47.120] of people now living in the state were [50:47.120 --> 50:49.120] actually born outside it. [50:49.120 --> 50:51.120] If you told yourself 20 years ago [50:51.120 --> 50:53.120] that Virginia was going to be in this situation today, [50:53.120 --> 50:55.120] would you have believed it? I never would have believed it. [50:55.120 --> 50:57.120] Change very fast. But as the state's [50:57.120 --> 50:59.120] politics change, the question becomes [50:59.120 --> 51:01.120] will Virginians choose to comply? [51:01.120 --> 51:03.120] Would you give up your guns if [51:03.120 --> 51:05.120] the government told you to? [51:05.120 --> 51:07.120] No. Do you think a lot of people [51:07.120 --> 51:09.120] feel the same way? I think everybody feels [51:09.120 --> 51:11.120] that way. [51:11.120 --> 51:13.120] We'll stay on that story [51:13.120 --> 51:15.120] because it means something. [51:15.120 --> 51:17.120] It's like there's evidence speaking of stories that are significant [51:17.120 --> 51:19.120] that the coronavirus is spreading through [51:19.120 --> 51:21.120] pipes. A remarkable [51:21.120 --> 51:23.120] development that may have implications for us [51:23.120 --> 51:25.120] here in the U.S. That's next. [51:53.120 --> 51:55.120] I've had [51:55.120 --> 51:57.120] 11 surgeries. [51:57.120 --> 51:59.120] But I can let that stop me. [51:59.120 --> 52:01.120] I love to bike ride, climb, [52:01.120 --> 52:03.120] race, and I'm learning how to [52:03.120 --> 52:05.120] stand and walk. But I can only [52:05.120 --> 52:07.120] do all of this because of [52:07.120 --> 52:09.120] generous people like you [52:09.120 --> 52:11.120] and Shriners Hospitals for Children. Because of you, [52:31.120 --> 52:33.120] I can run my bike. [52:33.120 --> 52:35.120] I can play [52:35.120 --> 52:37.120] basketball. [52:37.120 --> 52:39.120] Because of people [52:39.120 --> 52:41.120] like you, I can run. [52:41.120 --> 52:43.120] I can [52:43.120 --> 52:45.120] smile. After checking the ratings on [55:17.120 --> 55:19.120] Angie's List, we felt really confident [55:19.120 --> 55:21.120] hiring them. Find all [55:21.120 --> 55:23.120] the pros you need to know, all for free, [55:23.120 --> 55:45.120] at Angie'sList.com. [55:53.120 --> 55:59.120] Here are the new [55:59.120 --> 56:01.120] numbers on Coronavirus as of tonight. There are [56:01.120 --> 56:03.120] 242 new deaths [56:03.120 --> 56:05.120] from the virus reported in China [56:05.120 --> 56:07.120] and almost 15,000 new cases. [56:07.120 --> 56:09.120] Now those are official numbers by China's count [56:09.120 --> 56:11.120] which you obviously cannot trust. [56:11.120 --> 56:13.120] Now there's evidence that the virus is [56:13.120 --> 56:15.120] spreading through plumbing pipes. [56:15.120 --> 56:17.120] Apparently even the tiniest crack in a pipe [56:17.120 --> 56:19.120] can allow the virus to infect new people. [56:19.120 --> 56:21.120] Two people in a Hong Kong apartment [56:21.120 --> 56:23.120] are both infected despite, [56:23.120 --> 56:25.120] this is remarkable, living 10 floors [56:25.120 --> 56:27.120] apart. [56:27.120 --> 56:29.120] Think about that. [56:29.120 --> 56:31.120] At the moment, the Chinese [56:31.120 --> 56:33.120] Coronavirus remains a global [56:33.120 --> 56:35.120] health concern and a serious [56:35.120 --> 56:37.120] one, but there are already signs it [56:37.120 --> 56:39.120] could become an economic crisis [56:39.120 --> 56:41.120] as well. More than 50 [56:41.120 --> 56:43.120] countries have restricted travel to China to [56:43.120 --> 56:45.120] prevent the spread of the disease. Huge swaths [56:45.120 --> 56:47.120] of that country are essentially shut down, [56:47.120 --> 56:49.120] part of its industrial base. [56:49.120 --> 56:51.120] Mothball, what could be the effect [56:51.120 --> 56:53.120] of all of this on the economy around [56:53.120 --> 56:55.120] the world and here in the United States? [56:55.120 --> 56:57.120] Maria Bartiroma is one person who [56:57.120 --> 56:59.120] would know. She hosts warnings with Maria on the Fox [56:59.120 --> 57:01.120] Business Network and we're happy to have her [57:01.120 --> 57:03.120] tonight. Maria, are you concerned about [57:03.120 --> 57:05.120] the effect of this [57:05.120 --> 57:07.120] disease on the global economy? [57:07.120 --> 57:09.120] Oh yeah, hi Tucker. Thanks for having [57:09.120 --> 57:11.120] me. I think we certainly will [57:11.120 --> 57:13.120] see an impact on the global economy. [57:13.120 --> 57:15.120] I mean you just laid it out. When you [57:15.120 --> 57:17.120] consider the fact that China is pretty much [57:17.120 --> 57:19.120] shut down right now in terms of [57:19.120 --> 57:21.120] economic activity. No flights [57:21.120 --> 57:23.120] going in and out around Wuhan [57:23.120 --> 57:25.120] and the surrounding provinces. [57:25.120 --> 57:27.120] Tons of companies either shutting [57:27.120 --> 57:29.120] operations or temporarily [57:29.120 --> 57:31.120] closing down. That's no [57:31.120 --> 57:33.120] economic activity. Today, [57:33.120 --> 57:35.120] China represents a much bigger portion [57:35.120 --> 57:37.120] of the global economy than [57:37.120 --> 57:39.120] ever before. So what happens in [57:39.120 --> 57:41.120] China will have an impact on the United [57:41.120 --> 57:43.120] States and I think from a practical [57:43.120 --> 57:45.120] standpoint, you have to look at things like [57:45.120 --> 57:47.120] components and parts. [57:47.120 --> 57:49.120] There are parts in cars, parts [57:49.120 --> 57:51.120] in our phones, components in [57:51.120 --> 57:53.120] various devices that are made [57:53.120 --> 57:55.120] in China. So you'll probably see [57:55.120 --> 57:57.120] bottlenecks in terms of the supply [57:57.120 --> 57:59.120] chain and that will impact earnings. [57:59.120 --> 58:01.120] So we have a very strong [58:01.120 --> 58:03.120] economy right now here in the United States. [58:03.120 --> 58:05.120] I would expect a bit of a slowdown [58:05.120 --> 58:07.120] later on in the year. [58:07.120 --> 58:09.120] I wonder if this will be a wake-up call [58:09.120 --> 58:11.120] to American companies that it's [58:11.120 --> 58:13.120] in their interest to [58:13.120 --> 58:15.120] at least retain the capacity to manufacture [58:15.120 --> 58:17.120] key parts here. [58:17.120 --> 58:19.120] Spot on. That's exactly what is [58:19.120 --> 58:21.120] going to happen in my view. I think [58:21.120 --> 58:23.120] this is causing us to have a plan [58:23.120 --> 58:25.120] B and that's basically what [58:25.120 --> 58:27.120] the president tried to do with USMCA [58:27.120 --> 58:29.120] as well as the China phase [58:29.120 --> 58:31.120] one deal to send manufacturing [58:31.120 --> 58:33.120] back to America so that [58:33.120 --> 58:35.120] companies recognize that the safest [58:35.120 --> 58:37.120] place in terms of their own manufacturing [58:37.120 --> 58:39.120] will be here at home. There are [58:39.120 --> 58:41.120] also other issues. There's the trust [58:41.120 --> 58:43.120] issue. Look, China lied to us. [58:43.120 --> 58:45.120] They did not tell us when this [58:45.120 --> 58:47.120] coronavirus actually started. [58:47.120 --> 58:49.120] They knew about this back in November of last [58:49.120 --> 58:51.120] year. Then they sent this huge delegation [58:51.120 --> 58:53.120] to the White House to shake [58:53.120 --> 58:55.120] everybody's hand to do the China [58:55.120 --> 58:57.120] phase one deal and then they sent the [58:57.120 --> 58:59.120] largest delegation ever sent [58:59.120 --> 59:01.120] to Davos and [59:01.120 --> 59:03.120] they had this virus [59:03.120 --> 59:05.120] beginning and you know so [59:05.120 --> 59:07.120] there's that. And then they waited a long [59:07.120 --> 59:09.120] time before anybody could actually [59:09.120 --> 59:11.120] go in there, a foreigner, to see [59:11.120 --> 59:13.120] how this originated. They still [59:13.120 --> 59:15.120] will not allow the CDC [59:15.120 --> 59:17.120] the best [59:17.120 --> 59:19.120] institution in terms of disease [59:19.120 --> 59:21.120] control in the world. The CDC [59:21.120 --> 59:23.120] is not able to get into China [59:23.120 --> 59:25.120] on its own to actually [59:25.120 --> 59:27.120] better understand where this [59:27.120 --> 59:29.120] originated and how severe [59:29.120 --> 59:31.120] it is right now. [59:31.120 --> 59:33.120] Maria Bartiromo [59:33.120 --> 59:35.120] ladies and gentlemen and now also [59:35.120 --> 59:37.120] in New York to Sean Hannity right now. [59:37.120 --> 59:39.120] Hi Tucker, thank you. Great show as always. [59:39.120 --> 59:41.120] Welcome to Hannity. Tonight there is a clear [59:41.120 --> 59:43.120] front runner in the [59:43.120 --> 59:45.120] extreme radical Democratic Socialist [59:45.120 --> 59:47.120] Party and yep that 78 [59:47.120 --> 59:49.120] year old curmudgeon devout [59:49.120 --> 59:51.120] Soviet style socialist. You know [59:51.120 --> 59:53.120] the guy that took a honeymoon in the former [59:53.120 --> 59:55.120] Soviet Union, that guy [59:55.120 --> 59:57.120] the Democratic Party is in [59:57.120 --> 59:59.120] a state of ruins tonight.
