We leverage Harvard talent to partner with nonprofits, government agencies, and social impact organizations to amplify their impact through technology.

Taking a human-centered approach, research projects draw from fields such as learning sciences, computer science, human-computer interaction, experience design, data science, and psychology to address social issues, particularly in the areas of empowerment, learning, and human development.

Technology for social good channels innovation toward measurable, equitable impact. From improving access to healthcare and education to strengthening civic participation and disaster response, technologywhen designed responsiblyamplifies community power and addresses systemic challenges at scale.

Based on a systematic review of empirical studies related to managing innovation for social good, this study concludes with the need for clarity in understanding the critical role of technology, not only in being responsibly developed but also purposefully navigated to create social good.

Each path entailed distinct strategic, operational, and ethical implications for how a technology designed to serve the worlds most underserved populations would scale.
