Neutral Safety Switch C10. Truck started fine in park and back up lights worked but it would not. I have voltage at the reverse line input at the neutral safety switch now but it's only when the lights are turned on! Before i bought it it already had a floor shifter in it. Had to replace switch was malfunctioning wont send signal to backup. My first time doing it, i dont know how to adjust it. My question is should my 1980 c10 start in both neutral and park? I have a 74 c10 stepside. There are two purple wires. 82 c10 neutral safety/backup switch wiring. I think i need to replace the neutral safety switch on my '70 c10. So i recently redone the whole truck with a ls swap. I need a little help with wiring this switch.
