Tach On Left Or Right. Does anyone else on the forum think that the speedo should be on the right and the tach on the left? I've thought about that question for a couple of years now and still haven't run into a good answer. I've got late model experience with this issue. Just installed the tach kit this weekend on my crossroads. The original cars had the tach on the right,. My 15 year old truck has the tach to the left of the speedometer. Hello all, would you know which is the factory orientation/placement of the tachometer and speedometer on a left hand drive? I'm right handed and tend to look to the right side gauge first. What could be the problem (or could be the consequences) if you install a tach cable lay left instead lay right? Or is it just my since of balance?
