Bmw 1 Series Back Wiper Not Working. If the wipers work properly on slow & fast positions, then fuse f50 and the two relays k36 & k37 are working properly. Check that when you're using the washer, its not. I ended up buying a used rear wiper motor off ebay for around 90 bucks. Yesterday, i was messing about with a pin trying to clear it and found that by lifting the plastic cover that covers the nozzle at the base. It occasionally wipes part of the way round then stops but today it wont budge at all. Just installed it over the weekend and the wiper works again. Just one point of advice, given the blockage was inside the wiper motor, you can probably expect that to sieze up at some point. I have recently bought my 57plate 1 series and love it but i'm having issues with the rear wiper and washer not working. I'm having the same problem with my rear wiper.
