Unboxing and Gathering Tools
Before you begin, ensure you have all the necessary tools and parts. The Store Jr Play Table comes with the following components:
- Table top
- Table base
- Legs (4 pieces)
- Screws and washers
- Assembly instructions
You'll also need the following tools:
- Phillips head screwdriver
- Hammer (optional, for tapping pieces into place)
Laying Out the Components
Carefully remove the table top, base, and legs from the box. Ensure all parts are accounted for and undamaged. Lay out the components in an open space, such as your garage or living room, for easy access during assembly.
Assembling the Legs
Begin by attaching the legs to the table base. Each leg has a small hole at the bottom that corresponds to a hole on the table base. Align the holes and insert the provided screws, securing them with washers. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to tighten the screws until they're snug but not overly tight. Be careful not to overtighten, as this could strip the screws or damage the legs.
Attaching the Table Top
Now that the legs are securely attached to the base, it's time to attach the table top. The table top has two small notches on the underside that correspond to two small pegs on the table base. Align the notches with the pegs and gently press the table top onto the base. You may need to use a hammer to lightly tap the table top into place if it's not fitting snugly.
Once the table top is securely in place, use the remaining screws to attach the table top to the base. There are four screw holes along the edges of the table top. Insert a screw into each hole, securing it with a washer, and tighten with a Phillips head screwdriver until snug.
Finishing Touches
With the table top and base securely attached, your Store Jr Play Table is now ready for use. Wipe down the table with a damp cloth to remove any dust or debris from assembly. Allow the table to dry completely before placing it in your child's room.
