Haptic Feedback Not Working Mac. My magic trackpad 2 has suddenly stopped providing haptic feedback when i click it. I updated to the mac os ventura recently, but the haptic feedback on my magic trackpad stopped working. Technically, the entire top case, which is comprised of the case, keyboard, trackpad, and battery will have to be replaced. I tried unpairing the trackpad, turning on/off, charging, but no luck. Thats not to say the cable still could be bad. Haptic feedback stopped working on a magic trackpad 2. I just woke my macbook pro from sleep and the trackpad has no haptic feedback! I updated to the mac os monterey as soon as it was available, but my haptic feedback on trackpad stopped working. We understand that the haptic feedback is not working as expected on your macbook air, and we’d love to help. I personally haven't seen the haptic feedback as a failure of the cable, more likely the trackpad. I'e restarted and also gone to the trackpad preferences, but neither makes any difference. All the clicks are working fine.
