Snowmobile Lights Not Working. I left my snowmobile (99 xc sp 700 pull start) outside uncovered since last winter. There is a relay under the dash somewhere that causes the lights not to work on most rev models. Look for in line fuses first. It's called the lighting coil. I started it up the other day and i am now having. If your tail light's, brake light, and/or dash light's are working, there's nothing wrong with the coil. Well yesterday end of the day the head lights flickered a few times and lost head lights tail light, hand warmers again. I have recently replaced the voltage regulator, and ik that we have a shot batterie. It may be my fault,here goes, the sled was. But i dont know if the batterie would affect the lights. I have a 97 polaris indy 440 that i have lost my headlights, dash and tail lights. Maybe the freestyle has that. Just follow one of the dash light wires back to the common connection from the mag.
