Install Green Bearings Mopar. I have a couple of questions i was hoping you guys could help me out with. The disk brake kit wants you to use the green bearings so the axle ends are a known distance from the flange that the brake bracket attaches to. I installed a set of green bearing had to be 4 or 5 years ago but less than 500 miles ago. The boxes i got from mancini have a bearing. My third member is at a shop having my new gears. Long story short, the lt rear went out while headed to las vegas on the power tour. Unfortunately, the original mopar green wheel bearing design has 2 problems. Specifically designed to eliminate the production bearing. The bearings mentioned as sealed roller bearings are totally different than the sealed ball bearings (green style) or tapered roller bearings. Could anyone enlighten me as to how the green bearings are installed onto an axle?
