Walking Foot Not Feeding. My regular foot wasn't working because the surface of the lining kind of sticks to my sewing machine and didn't feed. A walking foot is an optional presser foot on many sewing machines. I have tried adjusting the foot tension high and low and still can't get it to feed evenly. This is a brand new walking foot, and i'm pretty sure it's attached correctly because i followed a youtube video to install it. The walking foot is used to sew plaids and stripes to match the patterns, and to sew through the multiple layers of quilts. I marked out the first few turns of my spiral, got the walking foot on, started quilting, and started struggling with feeding and twisting the quilt all. It has feed dogs on the foot itself to guide all layers of fabric evenly, keeping the top and bottom in alignment. I have pulled full lengths of quilting (60+ inches).
