Air Dam Removal Ford Ranger. I bought a oem skid plate off someone with the fx4 package. My 2014 sport's front lower air dam split in the middle of the rectangular air intake opening. It would be interesting to compare before and after mileage, because ford actually changed the air dam mid 2008 to help with fuel. I think it was struck by a rogue. I have a basic 4x4 with front sensors and it currently has the air dam. The slight drop in mpg. I've been reading through threads both here and on other forums regarding removal of the front air dam. I've seen some that have been trimmed. Will there be any issue installing this on my truck?
