The advantage of the 1100 front end is better brake callipers but well sorted K100 callipers with braided lines work just fine. I don't know if the 75S forks fit however I doubt they will be cheap. You can search the parts fiche on MAX BMW website and compare part numbers for compatibility.

The two piece front guards came towards the end of the 8v bikes certainly on the K75 and, I think, some K100's. All of the 16v bikes had the slightly wider fork tubes and no, you can't make them fit the 8v yokes. K Forks The K1100 (and K100 16V) forks are larger in diameter and the triple tree is different than the K100's.

I just replaced the front forks on my K100 RS 16 v and had originally bought some K100 forks thinking they would fit, they didn't.
