Hyundai Genesis Digital Key

Hyundai Motor Group (the Group) today announced it will collaborate with smartphone platform companies to allow a wider variety of iOS and Android phone users to gain digital access to Hyundai, Kia and Genesis brand vehicles via the Digital Key 2 convenience feature. Genesis Digital Key lets you remotely control your vehicle from a distance using Bluetooth technology. Use the buttons in the app to remotely start/stop your engine, lock/unlock your doors, turn panic mode on/off or open your trunk.

The Genesis Digital Key system allows users to unlock and start their vehicle via their smartphone. Replacing a physical key, the new Digital Key can be downloaded via an app and used by up to four authorized people.
