In his book the art of hand sewing leather, al stohlman includes the complete plans for what he calls his “quarter horse”, a stitching. I have seen some plans posted in past but the links are all gone. Stitching lacing pony how i made it long ago: Cut boards, glue/screw them together, pad with leather. I know there are a couple out there, maybe even some custom ones. I have the one in the hand stitching book by al stohlman. Here’s a couple shots of the completed build, then i’ll break it.
