Toyota Experience Drive Connect Turn Off

I no longer use Toyota's Connected Services. Uninstalled all of them but each time I start the vehicle up the Experience Drive Connect screen appears.

You get a free trial subscription for things like drive connect, safety connect and remote connect. Once the trials are over, you can subscribe but not mandatory.

The Toyota engineers I spoke with mistakenly believed everywhere in the country has excellent att internet service. LOL. Playing music from any source prior to turn off does don't affect the screen locking up. I have had times it locked up for 10 minutes. You can't replace the unit with one from an earlier vehicle.

I find it annoying that every time I start my 4Runner, the infotainment screen hits me with a reminder to "Experience Drive Connect." Even when I leave it on Apple Carplay when I turn it off, it aways flashes to this screen when I start back up I don't currently have any Toyota Connected Services, and don't really want to see this nag screen (or the associated menu item for that matter.

I'm getting steadily more irritated with the "Experience Toyota Drive Connect" nag on multimedia screen and it's half assed attempt to sign me up for Apple or Amazon's music subscription every time I attempt to switch from Android Auto to the radio on the fly.

The Toyota dealer said the 'experience drive connect' is an integral part of the media center. An advertisement is an integral part? Whoever made this the default with no way of getting rid of it should be fired. Toyota said my only option was to get a new stereo/media center. Before that they said I needed to subscribe to the the service for $10 or $20 a month to get rid of the advertisement.

Toyota gives you this app usage for free in your first year of ownership. I found it useful because its features include the ability to lock/unlock doors through the app and to check tire pressure. But after a year, it costs $15 a month, which is ridiculous. So, I declined to pay the fee.

Yes, you can opt-out of Toyota Service Connect by pressing the SOS button in your vehicle or through your Account Settings in your Toyota app. If you are having any difficulties, you may contact the Toyota Brand Engagement Center at 1.

In my Toyota App, Insure Connect and Service Connect Communication are both disabled and were already disabled previously without my input. The only one active is Connected Services Master Data Connect. When I went to turn that off, it would not allow it since I have an active AT&T WIFI hotspot subscription (that I use regularly).
