Just disconnect the connectors from the engine harness side, leave everything else attached. Dropped the GSA, replaced the small actuator piston and had it all bolted back up and relearning in about two hours yesterday. I cheated and use the Toyota SST.

The GSA is one of the more common failure points and a new one from Toyota costs over $2500! Swap this good, low mile unit in at a fraction of the cost and save!
