F150 Rain Sensing Wipers Not Working. We have tried testing them out. I looked at the sensor and noticed this bubble. This is about the 2nd time i’ve been through some good amount of rain for a period of time and the wipers do not come on. Twice now the wipers will start trying to. I’ve had rain sensing wipers on my last 2 superdutys and just within the past week, the auto sensing seems to be acting up. I have ‘21 f150 with the rain sensing wipers and they don’t seem to be working right. Has anyone seen something like this before? The wipers are just operating as normal and it appears they are not using the sensor to wipe. I have the option turned on from the menu and when i turn the wiper knob, they just run like. I have rain sensing turned on under vehicle settings, yet when it starts raining the wipers do not turn on. Brand new truck and the rain sensing wipers haven't worked right from the start.
