Banshee Headlights Not Working. For the ignition system to work (and the bike to run), the flywheel has to be indexed to the crankshaft at the right position with a woodruff key and the flywheel nut torqued. The headlights do not work at all high or low, not even a flicker. My banshee just blew both trail tech headlights at the same time. Is it just the headlights or does the taillight also not work? I know they dont just. We tested the bulbs with two different meters and got the same readings. Your going to have to do a lighting voltage test. I would start by connecting the bulb to a 9v battery and confirm its working. All the wiring is good but both bulbs are blown. Rode up and down the street lights quit working and know it wont start. 9v should be enough to light it up although it will be dim. I have a 2000 banshee and abotu a year after i had the quad my lights strted to dim and then they just went out.
