F150 Rear Axle Seal Leak. I have a 2022 with 18k miles on it and i've already got a leak at the rear pinion seal area on the diff. An excessive amount of slop in the yoke due to a bad bearing or just not being torqued properly will cause the seal to. (i may be wrong) it started flinging fluid all over the underside of my truck. Just got back from an oil change, the tech said my 2018 f150 now has a leak in rear pinion seal. Noticed a spot in the garage. Looks the the pinion seal. I'd check the breather tube on the axle tube on the driver side of the axle, about half way between diff and wheel. I have a 2021 f150 that just rolled 23k miles and it has a decent leak where the driveshaft goes into the back of the front differential. Check and see if there is any slop in the pinion yoke. See attached pictures and quick. I have just crossed 10,000 miles and noticed my rear axle leaking. Estimate for around $500 to fix it. I've seen those come off/plug, just thinking that would be.
