Atc 70 No Power. Im currently restoring an 84 atc 70 that was a non runner, i have the little problem child looking brand new but i seem to be having. My 84 atc 70 is losing power under load, or during rapid acceleration. I am working on my 70 and have no spark unless i twist the ignition switch back and forth while turning over the engine. My son took it into a pretty deep mud hole awhile back and since then the bike has lost. I have a 84 atc70 that just won't run correctly, it has a 88cc big bore, the carb for the 88cc kit and stock exhaust. I have an atc 70 that my kids been riding. Fast forward a few more weeks and get the new carb and get it. Popped the seat off and sure enough, pouring gas from the carb overflow. I changed points/condenser and timed it properly.
