Yamaha Grizzly Clicking Noise at Levi Betty blog

Yamaha Grizzly Clicking Noise. It sounds like it is at the wheels on both sides. There is a fairly loud clicking noise at the starter relay when i try to start the bike. My experience is that the winch causes the problem, i put a cut out switch on the main winch positive wire. One good muddy ride with a torn cv boot can cause enough wear to cause the clicking noise. Normally just replacing the boot is. It is not as loud as before but it only happens now when i’m ridding. I have taken a test light to everything and here. The noise now seems like it’s coming from both left and right. I have a 07 450 griz 4x4 that makes a popping sound in the rear when turning. A louder clicking/popping sound heard when riding which may get louder when turning or in diff lock indicates a bad front cv. The clicking or popping sound is a good indication that a cv needs replacing. It probably isn't broken, but debris has gotten.
