Yes. Felice DiBenga spouse of Euphemia (sic?) Cascarano were parents of Michele Di Benga who was father to (among others) Incoronata Di Benga, my grandmother. It was Incoronata DiBenga who married Mauro Cascarano. Mauro Cascarano’s father was Raphael. I have little else on the Cascarano clan itself.
It had crossed my mind that my grandparents, Incoronata and Mauro, could have been 2nd cousins. However that would mean that Euphemia Cascarano would have been an aunt to Mauro’s father, Raphael and I have found no connection as of yet. Also the surname Cascarano is rampant in the USA, especially NY State and common around Bari as well, so it’s very likely that there is no close family connection at all.
That would be my preference albeit less intriguing than the first option.
