One of the most popular hemp products today is hemp oil. According to the literature, it is a source of polyunsaturated fatty acids, EFAs, which are essential structural elements of our cells. Hemp oil also contains other compounds valuable for health, such as: phytosterols, carotenoids, polyphenols and tocopherols. Thanks to them, this fat exhibits antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties. It has a strong antioxidant effect, thus preventing the formation of many diseases (including cancer, cardiovascular diseases, age-related macular degeneration - AMD, etc.). According to specialists, the oil can also positively influence the regulation of cholesterol levels in the body.
