2013 Hyundai Veloster Turbo Muffler Delete

I really like the sound you guys are getting with the delete. I have talked to a local muffler shop and got a decent price quote for a custom exhaust from cat back. He suggested a muffler in place of the resonator and straight pipe the rest of the way, using either a turbo muffler or glasspack.

I drive a 2013 Hyundai Veloster NAV, and I am looking to do a muffler delete. Has anybody done this with theirs? or have any opinions/advice about doing so? Both diameters of pipe are the same @ 2.5".

So if you take this project on in sections by doing the muffler delete first, if it's too loud then just replace the resonator with a magnaflow muffler (see part #10426) and you'll essentially have the same thing for hundreds less. That magnaflow resonator isn't going to do anything but be quieter than the stock resonator. Also, just doin the muffler delete is way cheaper than deleting the resonator too and adding in a magnaflow.

Hey! So, I've heard the VT without a muffler in some videos and sound clips and it sounds amazing. I'm considering getting a muffler delete and a turn down welded on, or replacing the muffler with one of those cool cherry bomb ones. Is there anything new I should expect after this is done.
