Bmw X5 50e Lease Credit
In fact, BMW Financial was offering lease incentives (equivalent to $7,500) on EVs like the iX and XM. For the X5 50e, a lease could potentially have a built-in credit rebate (~$3,750) if the lessor passes it. This isn't a consumer tax credit you claim, but a leasing benefit.

The time now is 01:20 AM. Thanks, understand, the X5 50e doesn't qualify under the new IRA for individual credit so if you leased and the leasing company passed at least part of the credit, $7500, it might be a savings the way I'm thinking. Like BMW financial.
What BMW FS needs to do in the long run is pass on the credit on the lease. No incentive for them to do it if the vehicles are selling. They are/were doing it for the lower i4 and iX's that aren't selling as well but not for the upper models.
I'm sure if they see the 50e sales lagging they will increase the incentives. __________________.
