"When we went back in the day after the fire we were surprised to find it still standing, but we didn't have the keys-they were burned in the fire," Brandon explains. The LA fires were undeniably tragic, but there were some tough survivors out there, including this heroic Tacoma. Apparently, the keys were actually lost in the house fire, but Envision Toyota of West Covina was able to make a brand new key for the family at no charge. Brandon Sanders found that his 2013 Toyota Tacoma still runs, despite being partly melted in the fire that destroyed his home in Los Angeles.
