Issue: On certain vehicles, the side curtain airbag (s) may not inflate properly in a crash if the driver's or front passenger's windows are rolled down. Note: For the Grand Highlander model, this recall affects both Grand Highlander and Grand Highlander Hybrid models. Safety Risk: A side curtain airbag that doesn't work properly could increase the risk of injury in a crash.

TORONTO, September 11, 2025 - Toyota is conducting a safety recall involving certain Toyota Venza, Crown, Crown Signia, RAV4, GR Corolla, Camry, Grand Highlander, Tacoma, Highlander, and certain Lexus LS, RX, and TX vehicles. Approximately 70,480 vehicles are involved in this recall in Canada. Nearly 12,000 of the SUVs are recalled in Canada.
