Vehicle Not Linked Toyota App Reddit

Question: How to link Toyota app with used car that was previously a lease/fleet vehicle? Pretty much the title. I just bought a 2020 Highlander that previously a lease/fleet vehicle. Every time I try to link the VIN to the Toyota app, it says it's unavailable as it is a lease/fleet vehicle.
