Basically it is a mod done to the 4.2l that eliminates almost all of the vacuum lines and is a very popular mod with the 4.2l. I was under my 1992 yj today and noticed that there were no vacumn line attached to the actuator on the front axle. That vacuum nipple on my 1990 feeds the red line of the transfer case vacuum harness. Getting rid of a ton of old vacuum lines and converting my yj to a tj style transfer case 4wd. Does your jeep shift into 4wd?? I've got some vac lines cut and dont know where the one from the manifold goes into the front axle. In trying to solve my lack of 4wd i found all my vacuum lines were separated at the multiple connectors and the transfer case. I didn't see any loose lines hanging aroung anywhere.
