Is 8 5 Too Big For Street at Barbara Enrique blog

Is 8 5 Too Big For Street. I don't believe foot size matters at all. Been riding 8.5 for almost a year now and i love it. I know i’m not making it easier for you but as long as you go for an 8.0, 8.125, or an 8.25″ you can’t go wrong. I've got size 9.5 feet and recently moved up to an 8.5. It really depends on the size of your feet. Smaller wheels are lighter and more maneuverable, making it easier to perform tricks and flip the board. Anything between 8.0 and 8.25 is a good size for street skating. Took a week or two to get everything. I went from a 32.25 to a 31.8 and it was night and day. Size 12 shoe and i like an 8.25 deck for when i'm skating street and 8.3 to 8.5 for tranny, bowls, vert. However, you might as well choose the 8.0 if you’re a little shorter and prefer a board that. I love an 8.5 but the extra length (32.25 or greater) became an issue with flip tricks. Still, there are lots of skaters that love to shred the streets on an 8.5″ and are killing it (ben degros for example).
