Once the bolt is torqued, the oil is technically sealed in the passage, and stays there until the head bolt is loosened and removed. All of them go to coolant except for some of the 1989 & later in which the 4 closest to the lifter valley. No sbc head bolt holes go to oil. Is it the same proc for chasing existing threads?.
