Jeep Tj Brakes Locking Up. Winter is changing to spring. There is a problem with my jeep’s electronic brake control system (esc). I suspect that could be a cause. I thought i would check with the knowledgeable folks on here in regards to my tj having too much front brake. Vehicle has been standing for 3 days and this morning went to move it and it seems as if though the brakes have locked up. Other causes could be a malfunctioning brake. Once home, jacked up front wheels and both sides brakes grabbing and wheels locked up. One post had a guy who sold his tj after his wife slid through. I believe it to be with the brake assist system (bas). I need some help here, i drive a 2000 wrangler tj sport. I read many posts in this forum about tj issues with rear brakes. A little later i went to move the jeep and after a brief. Recently replaced passenger side rear wheel cylinder. However that wouldn't normally lock up all wheels.
