Are Wedgewood Stoves Good. I am looking to sell my fully functional 1950's wedgewood stove to a fellow vintage appliance enthusiast. The most common brands are okeefe & merritt, wedgewood, and chambers. The greatest reason to use an antique stove, in my opinion, is that it’s environmentally friendly to employ something that already exists. Wedgewood stoves were known for their durability, performance and certain key features. I have my eye on a 1954 or 1956 wedgewood with double ovens. Totally rebuilt, good as new. Many wedgewood stoves from 1930s, 40s, and 50s can be found at antique stove dealers and in the homes of consumers willing to pay upwards of. Thought i'd see if anyone on here is interested before i try craigslist/fb marketplace. Antiques stoves are gorgeous, and they are pretty good cookers as well. They ranged from a mere 36 inches wide. What i really want, but just can't bring myself to pull the trigger on, is one of those 100% refurbished stoves.
