Can Am Spyder Fuel Gauge Not Working. Same situation as my '08 vtx 1800t. Recently purchased 2013 spyder limited se5 that was stored for some time, probably without much gas in tank. And yes i have fuel in it!! Miles to empty works fine and thats what. Anyone have a clue whats wrong? My gas gauge shows full all the time, even on empty. But if you have exactly the same. Use the odometer, when you hit 150 miles start looking for gas. Ever since march when we purchased our brand new 2021 canam spyder rt touring, neither the dealer or brp has been able. If the digital gauge displays for both fuel level & coolant temp work ok, then it can't be the sender or its wiring. When the fuel gets low, the fuel gauge/mileage computer are showing empty/<40 miles to go with low fuel warning indicator. The bars never move, just stuck showing full. The float seems to be working okay outside of tank.
