Tilt Alarm Prius. i recently had my catalytic converter stolen from my 2005 prius. I did install dub1 tilt sensor, it's easy i will post diagram shortly. Something like 120db or louder siren. To protect my 05 and my 04 and 08, i installed cat shields and the directed electronics 507m. the alarm button on your key fob is a manual alarm.intended to draw attention if you are in trouble in a parking lot. has anyone had a tilt sensor alarm installed on their prius? i would have thought that with all the bad press these thefts were getting toyota especially would have incorporated a tilt. stick 2 of the magnets on the alarm, crouch down and and put it under the car somewhere, near an edge you can reach. If yes, does t work well?
