Ford Focus Boot Switch Not Working. I have a 02 focus hatchback with boot release problem, i can open the boot with the key but cant. But it will open with the remote control button. How to remove and change the boot trunk opening switch on a ford focus. My boot release button switch pad above the number plate does not seem to work anymore if with keys in pocket and going to open. For months i've been only using my key button to open boot.
