Reddit Blender Motion Tracking at Madeleine Pardey blog

Reddit Blender Motion Tracking. Added second marker, started to track it, keeps disabling itself between frame 80. Added first marker, tracked it. Tracking fails when the tracked element cannot be found accurately within the search box. I just put this together with a model i made the other week. The tracking process stops when blender cannot accurately track an element. I'm trying to get into motion tracking but don't know when to use different tracker motion models, or if it makes a difference in the outcome of the track. Could someone please explain, or link. Motion tracking is hard if your camera's motions are small and far from the relevant geometry. Having some 3d rocks and letting the softbodies interact with those rocks would improve the realism. If the camera is not moving (you're not walking or otherwise displacing the camera to have some parallax) the only way to solve the shot is using tripod solve. Been practising motion tracking lately, i'm really enjoying it. Normal solve will only give you errors. Also, blender does a better job with smooth camera.
