Bmw E46 Lumbar Support Not Working. Hi, my drivers side lumbar support doesnt work. I'm guessing that means that the step motor is not. I did not find the part number for the back rest wiring kit (to pump and valve). The lumbar support system does not work for my driver side seat. So, the main wiring kit is optional; I thought it was the pump, so i swapped it with the passenger side but it didnt. I press the buttons and i hear clicking but the lumbar support is not moving. The passenger side works well. How and where can i check ?. When i push the buttons on either lumbar or side bolsters i am no longer hearing any sound of the mechanism/motor working.
