Yfz 450 Cuts Out At Full Throttle. I currently do not have the zip tie mod, but one thing i have noticed is when i hit the throttle and have the throttle cable cover off. I have an 05 yfz 450. It seems to rev up if i go nice and easy but any quick or semi fast taps on the throttle and the engine wants to die but wont if. It will sputter and back fine then surge forward and repeat. My timing chain was old and stretched, so i bought a new one and installed. Took it out for a spin and started cutting out pretty bad after it got. I bought it used and long story short it ran great for 3 months and no issues other than a backfire once in. Changed the plug and started right up. This last year its started cutting out hard after 3/4 throttle. If my bike is just idling and i stab the throttle to full or need to blip the throttle on yhe trail to wide opean, it cuts out and stalls. Recently i came to a problem with this atv when accelerating near full throttle it suddenly lost power like i quickly released. I have a '05yfz 450 that's giving me trouble.
