Are Meilink Safes Good. We see lots of the older, top opening fire safes like the ones pictured here. I’ve seen some similar meilink safes on craigslist and ebay covering a wide range of values. The meilink safe company is actually still in business and making great quality safes yet today. If i remember correctly the serial number was at the bottom right of the door on a little metal sticky tab which may have come off of yours. I have no use for it and it takes up a lot of room in a storage closet! It measures 17.5” x 24” x 17” wxhxd and is 1hr fire rated. I bought a home with a rather large meilink safe that was installed in the early 1980's. Looking for some help on an old meilink safe that i inherited. That particular safe is too heavy. There don't seem to be and locations to bolt it to the floor/wall. There's only one thing better than a free safe, and that's a safe that somebody pays you to remove. I am looking for a good way to secure it in my garage. One, i wanted to ask if this.
