I am dealing with a 2001 rub 500 transmission issue presently, not very happy about it. If i am to go into drive or reverse the transmission locks the wheels up and is immovable. The problem is caused by very heavy, stiff, gummy grease that was installed in the shift motor gears at the factory. On about the third day of driving the transmission would lock up when i turned off the machine in gear and then start it up again in.
