Toyota Gr86 For Sale Reddit

Looking in the market to buy a brand new car and I'm wanting a reliable daily that has some power behind it (coming from a used Camry that has barely 170hp). What is your honest opinions on the car and would it be a good daily driver to upgrade to?

Why buy a car with known issues especially if you plan to track it and Toyota isn't owning up to the problem and has denied warranties despite showing the car as being tracked. IMO the GR86/BRZ makes a poor daily. A WRX or GTI are far more usable and powerful and easy to live with as a daily vs the GR86/BRZ Reply reply [deleted].

The new gr86 is perhaps the best handling car you can buy sub 60k. It will put a smile on your face everytime you drive it and has one of the best gearboxes you can have.

Used GR86 Prices Just curious what everyone is paying for used now. I was looking at trying to buy a used 2022 gr86 premium yesterday. It had 13,500 miles and the dealer was asking $31,000. I thought this was a little high as the same dealer has 2 new 2023 premiums on the lot with 0 miles asking $33,000.

Recently I have been looking online and notices that sites like Caravan have a ton of used GR86's. About 4 months ago, before I got mine there were the search netted between 8-10 cars for sale. Now the search came up with around 75. Many premium models for sale as well. Anyone happen to know what would be the reason for this?

Pick whatever you like more man, posting in a gr86 subreddit will give you much bias towards the 86, and posting in a gr corolla subreddit will have bias towards the Corolla.

Peterson Toyota gets a ton of GR86s (just not in the options I wanted over the last couple months), and they are MSRP only, with no catches I'm aware of. My current plan is fly in the morning, drive back to Salt Lake in the afternoon.

Plus, I Doubt Toyota pulls production from the Subaru plant in Gunma, Japan and sets it all up somewhere else, because that would cost them hundreds of millions of dollars, all just to sell maybe a few thousand more cars.

I've been eyeing the gr86 recently and I'm thinkin 'bout gettin the AT (for a smoother/less hassle city ride) Premium trim, probably in Pavement Gray or Trueno Blue in like 3.
