Brad's extended interview with Margaret Throsby (ABC Radio Australia, December 2010)

Brad made his first foray into the world of television in 2002, as musical director of When She Died, Jonathan Dove's television opera for Channel Four. Jonathan and Brad collaborated again in 2006 on their prizewinning follow-up, Man on the Moon, also for Channel Four.

Brad's growing interest in the possibilities of new media for classical music took a new turn when, in 2007, he was invited to participate in the major BBC series Maestro as a conducting mentor. The series, broadcast to an enthusiastic response in 2008, saw Brad guiding and instructing Alex James, ex-bassist of the band Blur, on how to conduct.
