PerformingEditions specialises in the custom printing of music graphics. All our output is supervised by performing musicians, who understand the specific requirements of music printing: legibility, clarity, simplicity and robustness.
Full scores, orchestral sets, and vocal scores are processed on our laser printer at 600dpi, in all sizes up to and including double-sided A3. We print on high-white, thick 100gsm paper, ensuring both clarity and longevity.
We use the Plastikoil™ coil binding system to bind all our scores. Coil binding is strong and flexible, meaning that our scores lie flat, pages turn silently, and further pages can be added or removed easily. Our coil binding system is the same as that used by major music publishers, including Peters Edition and Ricordi.
We also scan existing material at 600dpi, up to A3 size, on our scanner. This means that full orchestral scores can be imported, processed with Adobe Photoshop and InDesign, and output as graphic files or on paper.
