Can Am Outlander Clutch Problems. I have a 2018 can am outlander 850 xmr. Any help would be appreciated, it’s an 07 outlander 650. It took me only 30min to tear the plastic of and remove both. Clutch issues can manifest themselves in several different ways, including difficulty shifting gears, slipping or chattering during acceleration, and increased levels of vibration or noise. Dealership said my sheaves are bad on my clutch, they suggested a new clutch. Does anyone know why my clutch is making that noise in the video above? It seems clear to me that one of the halves are worn down (likely from it free spinning after the bolt came loose) and needs replaced. About a month after i got my outlander my entire clutch assembly seized after taking in some water through the cvt inlet. I took it to the dealer they greased the one way clutch and said everything was within spec. This time i am doing the rebuild. They said it was a litle louder than a brand new. Any idea what the actual problem is?
