Quiet Muffler 3Rd Gen 4Runner. I installed the ss walker quiet flow about 6 months ago on my 3.4l 2000 t4r. I have recently purchased a 3rd gen 4runner that was obnoxiously loud. As the title states, i'm looking to find out which aftermarket muffler produces the least amount of noise. The factory muffler is pretty quiet! Hi guys, i realized a bit ago i need to either get my muffler either welded or fully get a new one and i truly think the rear pipe that was connected… Not terribly quiet, but not ridiculous. It sounds like stock but just a little more rumble. The exhaust system from what i could see was a stock cat and a flowmaster super 10. I picked up a 2024 trd pro recently, and i love the truck but the loud droning exhaust doesn't work for me with all of my highway driving. I thought by replacing the small flowmaster with a decent size magnaflow would solve the issue, but the car is still pretty loud. It is a direct bolt on oem replacement. Quiet just like oem muffler, maybe a slight bit louder which is ok with me. I’ve had it for 2 years and it is awesome. For around the same price i got a borla cat back.
